Tax Credits are awful with overpaying - I don't know how they do it, you tell them how much you earn, they calculate and pay you. I now feel blessed that we are going to get money in August - sorry to hear you have year of nothing xx

  • We didn't get tax credits last year, so kind of got used to not having them and we would only recieve the minimum anyway think its about £10 a week, probably make more than that on surveys:rotfl:, it all got scr£w£d up cos hubby was self employed and then went employed total c*ck up but they wouldn't listen when i tried to change things, to be honest i really hate them and i'm sure a 5 year old good come up with a better idea.
  • Have managed to list 7 things on ebay, one item already has a bid:D, have 2 or 3 more things to put on.

Have organised childrens friends to come over and pay tmorrow as its last day of holidays, so that will keep them entertained and i won't have to spend any money:).

  • Good morning, looks like another wet day:(, so looks like clothes are going in the tumble:mad:, which reminds me i need to do meter readings.

Managed to get a total of 13 items listed on ebay and already have a couple of bids, not going to make loads as its all low value stuff but anything will help.

Checked banking and £10.15 had hit from paypal :D so have sent that to the !!!!!! card, all the little payments are adding up but don't think i'm going to get under £6000 this month.

Have done a couple of surveys this morning, none are near payout at the minute so think it will be a quiet month for recieving extra money:(.

Today i need to make a quiche and some cakes, make sure kids have done any homework, read books etc and have a general tidy around.

Oh and its 6 weeks and 4 days until the summer hols:D.

    Hi Pennywise

I'm impressed with your shoe bargains, Ne*t prices are ridiculous for some things and I begrudge paying them now whereas before I'd have just paid it.

My surveys are slow as well, Tolun* screened me out of loads over the weekend.

The weather is fine here at the moment but looks as though it could rain at some point.

I can't believe its less than 7 weeks until the summer holidays, this year is flying past.

Enjoy your last day off work xx
  • Thanks choogirl, i've actually gone off Next stuff, think they are quite poor quality really, tend to go to M&S for nicer lasting things and fashion stuff that i know i won't wear for more than a summer/ winter i wait for the sales in Tesco/sainsburys/newlook.

Just had a delivery man knock at the door, been sent a huge box of washing powder to test:D, think i have enough washing powder to see me through the next 6 months and an added bonus is the box it came in is big enough for something i'm selling on ebay and i was wondering how i was going to pack it up to post:rotfl:.
  • And A £5 amazon voucher has landed in my inbox, will go towards new trainers for DS.
  • Postie has just been and brought me a cheque from glob*ltestm*rket for £29.75:D, will bank it tomorrow and once cleared will go towards !!!!!! card.

Well done - you are doing brilliantly on the surveys. I have got very lazy with mine, I think I need to pull the old finger out.
