  • :DWell its the weekend and its Pay day.

Children went to school dressed up in party outfits for the royal wedding, but had to pay £1 each for the privelige (sp), i also spent £2.47 at lunchtime on salad and a yoghurt:(, really need to get myself organised and take lunches.

Have recieved £9.80 into paypal from syrveys so this has been withdrawn and when it hits account wil be sent to B card.

This evening i need to sort out a budget for the month and then sort a shopping list as i might go shopping in the morning and record some of the royal wedding, to be honest i just want to see her dress, not really bothered about the rest of it, so think it might be a quiet time to hit the supermarket.

Found out today that childrens school have an inset day on the friday before they break up from school, but the school i work at hasn't so i'm working, will see if OH can take a days hols and look after kids otherwise it means paying for childcare for the day:mad:.

Right off to feed kids and then DD is at brownies at 6pm got a feeling i need to pay subs this week, better take cheque book.

    Hi Pennywise

Its a good idea to go shopping tomorrow, Mr Ms was manic this afternoon when I went - obviously everyone wants to be at home tomorrow. I'm going to watch it as well but only really want to see Kates dress, I'll probably iron whilst watching it.

My 2 fleeced £5 off me today as well for the school disco, they bought too many sweets and both have come home absolutely wired :rotfl:

I can feel an early night coming on for the pair of them!

    Enjoy your evening xx
  • Gosh can't believe i havn't posted last few days.

Well i went shopping on Friday and stocked the house up, it was lovely and quiet, did manage to spend £66.45 in lidl and £95.92 in Sainsburys:eek:, but like a said we really are stocked up also bought things like large box od washing powder which has 60 washes in it i will get more out so will last me a couple of months, hubbies expensive razor blades that are £9 a pack:eek:, also stocked up on the beer offer in sainsburys and bought 3 big packs of beer for £20, then came home and watched the royal wedding that i had recorded, thought she looked beautiful and very elegant, also thought Harry looked a bit yummy wonder if Kates sister coped off with him:rotfl:after all it is tradition for the bridesmaid and bestman.

Saturday went for a lovely day out and had a long walk with the dogs, children spent the day with Grandparents so it was just me and OH, stopped off at a little country pub and sat out in the sun and had lunch, which was a lovely treat but managed to spend £25.

Yesterday was another spend day as needed to stock up on Dog food spent £30 but it will last a few months,

Loving this warm weather as it means lots of money saving:
washing dried outside so no tumble dryer on
Kids playing outside more no tv/computer games on
Guinea pigs living outside eating grass and dandilion leaves so eating less shop bought food.
    No heating on.

May the lovely weather continue:D, having said that OH is complaining as he wants some rain so his grass grows for the cows, told him its only allowed to rain at night:).

Spending today at home pottering, doing housework and bits, DD has a pair of light weight trousers that she has managed to put a hole in the knee so they are going to be shortened, hemmed and turned into shorts.
  • Checked bank account and have rounded it up so have sent £2.01 to B Card, not much but keep thinking it might all start to add up.

Meter readings have been done for the week and have used .........

    Elec £10.38
    Gas £1.66

:D This is fantastic and hopefully if the nice weather continues we can build up a bit of credit for next winter:j.

Morning Pennywise, im glad youve had a lovely weekend. OMG £9 on razor blades . My DH used to use those too but now he has the more rugged look and uses his electric one!

I love Spring/Summer too there seems so much going for it ie line drying the washing etc that in Winter!

    Catch up soon x x

  • Hi mummy, hubby won't use an electric shaver as he likes a really close shave and has to have good razor blades as he has sensitive skin and ends up with with ingrowing hairs and boils otherwise which isn't a good look.
