Good evening, we have had another beautiful day here.
Up early this morning so wacked all the dogs blankets in the washer and gave them a good wash and out onto the line to dry, managed a few surveys including a £4 p!necone one which i have just been paid for.
Went to visit Gran today and took her shopping to Morrisons, i was very good and only bought cat crunchies so £2 spent, gran spent over £40 so gave me the 6p off a litre of fuel voucher:D.
Went to visit my aunty as well she is off to my other aunties tommorrow and staying in chester for a week so gave me a few bits from her fridge so came home with ham joint, carrots, cucumber, cream cake and biscuits that she had bought for the kids.
Gran also gave me the cravendale milk labels that she saves for me, so have entered the codes into the rewards site and had enough to order an egg cup and spoon set.Kids also got a huge bag of haribo sweets each off gran that are being rationed out.
Arrived home to find postie had been and left a little parcel from dove that contained some dove shower gel:), have popped this into holiday bag, also letter from Boden containing a £10 off voucher and it also had a free delivery code and 15% off, so used these and managed to order a really cute T shirt for DD in the next size up as she has loads of tees for this summer and will put it away for next year so that cost me £1.90:D.
Have withdrawn £8 from paypal this won't hit bank account until end of next week though with all the bank holidays.
Recieved another birthday present today, bottle of wine so have put that in the fridge to drink over the bank holiday weekend, kids also got 2 more easter eggs each today one off there great auntie and great uncle and one off there auntie, hubby also came home from work with a hugh cadburys dairy milk egg for me:o.0 -
You're making me hungry again Penny!
Glad you had a lovely day with the relatives, they sound very thoughtful with all the eggs and food :money:
We've got mist again this morning but hopefully it'll burn off soon.
Had a friend over yesterday who had great ideas about the hall, so will price up some coir matting for the bit at the door and then use carpet we've had for ages for the rest. Will need to get a stair runner but first i need to finish stripping the wallpaper!Weight: need to lose 71lbs - lost to date 0lbs

Well its another beautiful day here but thought i would have a mooch on here for a bit as feel as though i've sat out in sun a bit long today.
No children today, they were picked up first thing this morning and have gone to the seaside with grandparents:), this means they will be shattered and sleep well tonight.
Went for a nice long walk along the canal this morning with OH, dogs had a lovely time and are also shattered and asleep in there bed so no mad puppy running around at the minute, was very good as i took £5 out with me but left purse at home, this is because the walk goes passed a lovely little pub by the canal, so we stopped off and had a drink each and walked back if i had taken my purse with my cards in it would have ended up a boozy lunch out and we would probably be still sat there now, so easily done when no kids are in tow, but was good and came home and made salad for lunch.
Really not sure what to make for tea have some left over chicken, bit of salad stuff, might make a quiche as well and have a bitsa tea and use up all the bits from the fridge.0 -
Evening Pennywise, sounds like you and DH have had a lovely day. Ooohhh a nice cold glass of wine would go down lovely right now!! Well done on not taking the purse too :T.
Hope the kids have had a great time x xMummytogirls x0 -
Kids had a fab time thankyou and were shattered and grumpy, so they had a quick tea and into bed and fast asleep in 5 minutes:).
Managed to get to 1000points with gl0bel test market so have redeemed a cheque, will be around £30 as it depends on the exchange rate:), will take around 8 weeks to arrive.
Had rain in the night, still a bit cloudy but hope it clears out into a nice day if it does plan is to get beds striped and all bedding washed, trip to library this morning as books are due back might try and persuade hubby to do this as DS has no Football this morning as its bank holiday weekend, must also get some baking done and sort out next weeks shopping list.0 -
Morning Penny,
Up too early here too! Middle child is not a sleeper, i always fancied being a dairy farmer and he'd be perfect for early milking, 5.02am was today's chat about dragons
Cloudy and dull and darker than normal here.
One of my friends has a wedding in her garden today, hope it cheers up for them .

Hi Pennywise
Glad that your 2 little ones had a lovely day out and that you had a nice day with DH. That was very restrained of you only taking £5 out with you, although a boozy lunch without any kids sounds really appealing!
I do the Globaltest market surveys as well, lets hope that the exchange rate stays favourable.
Have a great weekend xx0 -
Went to library, then went to see MIL had lunch there:D, came home and postie had brought me 4 packs of seeds from RHS, need to go and buy some compost as have none left will do this on Tuesday when i go shopping as i refuse to do 2 trips and waste petrol.
Changed meal plan as we were having pasta and salad but have no lettuce left and have Broc and carrots that need eating so will have stk pie, chips and veg instead.
Just put a cake in the oven to bake so thats pud sorted, was going to make a banana cake for the freezer, but can't fit anything in freezer, maybe kids need to eat some of the icecream tomorrow and will make one then as bananas really need using up.
Had to top up my phone this morning so £10 gone:(, was thinking i would get a NSD in as well:mad:.0
