There was me googling pilasters thinking it was some horrible ailment.:rotfl:
I just did Week 4 Run 1 - honestly after the first five minute run I was really doubting that I would carry on and make it through a second five minute run. I was talking myself through it all the way and convinced myself it wouldn't matter if I couldn't make it today.
By the time I got to 2.5 minutes of the second five I was done in and thought it really doesn't matter if I stop now, as I had done way more than I thought I ever would. Don't ask me how but somehow I did it. :T
My cool down walk was extremely slow and my legs were drunk and wobbly.Mortgage

I have the type of feet that I get blisters with anything, even flip flops. I couldn't ever buy a pair of shoes and wear them from the off, I'd be hobbling around for days.
For running I wear Nike Anti Blister socks - they are double layered so if your shoes rub it doesn't rub your skin off. The socks also have a right and left sock - I'm not sure how that works. They are very similar to these

and I would recommend them.Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0 -

Thanks I do wear sports socks but will ask about these at the sports shops when I am next in town.0 -
Well I've only managed 1 run this week, been stupidly busy after work. I'm going to do what iammumtoone suggested as it makes more sense and just stick to the plan. I've only got 8 runs left anyway so I've nearly finished. I just hope when I shift back to outdoors I don't end up going backwards too much. I might end up repeating the beginning of week 6 but that's ok.
Luckily we have a nature reserve close to us and I love running round that. It's quiet and flat and just lovely. Off there on Saturday morning.0 -

:j That's where we run, I really think the view helps. I just zone out and look in to the trees.

Well done everyone :TLife is short, smile while you still have teeth0 -
I've just done week 1 run 2 which I did find easier (I run on a treadmill) with a fan blowing in my face :rotfl: I may stick at doing week 1 for at least 2 weeks before moving on, I am a big girl
and am losing weight as well so don't want to push it! Is there a version of C25K without the music? Just her reminding you when to run/walk? I watch the tv at the same time as I find it easier when I'm distracted but the music is driving me nuts!
