That will be your metabolism speeding up.

How close to running are you eating? And what are you eating before hand also?

I've not given it much thought but yesterday, I went for a run at 6.00 pm, having eaten lunch at 2.00 pm and didn't have dinner until afterwards.

So I've started taking some medication which is making me super sleepy at the moment. I just couldn't get out of bed Monday morning to do the run so didn't. However today I dragged myself up! But I couldn't face doing wk4run3 which has the 6 min run in.

So I repeated the run2 run. I'm really struggling with it at the moment. My legs are hurting badly when I'm running. Not damaging myself hurting but just hurting because they are moving!!

I was running for 20 mins straight only a few months ago and although it was hard it was nothing like this!!

Feel very demotivated about it at the moment.
Don't feel demotivated, you movec and did some running. That will help you build stamina and muscle :T

Stay on that run for a week or so, it won't harm :)

Maybe try having a banana 40 minutes before, that could help slow your digestive system and give you decent carbs to fuel you through it.

We just completed run 1 of week 7. Dd struggled after 21 minutes, I actually struggled the first five for some reason. Just 8 runs left of the programme, I don't think you will be free of me though as I actually enjoy it:eek:

Well once I stop anyway :rotfl::D

Don't worry the main thing is to keep getting out and keep trying. It doesn't matter if you stick on the same one or even go back a session or two until you find your right level then you can start building it back up again.

Just remember you got out and did it :T if it was extra hard then you should feel extra proud of yourself for doing it.

Does anyone have the same problem as me, sorry but I hope you're not eating lunch.

I went out running on Monday, didn't feel my usual self, the run I did two days previously was much better. Got home and had to rush to the loo. No wonder my feet were heavy pounding the ground lol.

Yesterday I thought I'd try the treadmill for a change, 17 mins in I had to stop and again rush to the loo.

    Anyone else the same?

I've not suffered this myself but it is not the first time I have heard of it, so don't worry you are not alone. Have you tried googling I am sure you will find some helpful advise on the net somewhere.

Well done I am not going to ask how long you actually ran for. I don't want to know as I can tell it must be longer than 21 minutes :T
8 runs to go that is fantastic. I am hoping with the support of this thread I can keep this up and finish the course.

Today I finished wk1 run3. I couldn't run on the track as someone was already using it (they looked very professional and had a trainer with them). Instead I went out tonight as ds was at his dads.

    I have pilasters :(

Congrats on completing Week 2, yay.
And there's me hoping you were going on the track and leaning forward on the finishing line.

What are pilasters - do you mean blisters?
