:bdaycake: Happy Birthday Jintyb!!! Hope you have a fab day!! :D

Well i can report Thursday was a NSD, so i'm now on 9 :j

Yesterday i had a nightmare with the bank, seems for months they have been sending my credit card statements to my house with someone else's name on them (despite numerous phone calls from me asking them to check my details as i've not been getting statements), & so not knowing i've been sending them back!!!!!
Worked out what was happening & went to the branch where an extremely helpful customer services lady spoke to the extremely unhelpful credit card department who basically told me they didn't know why it was happening & there was nothing they could do
Luckily the very helpful lady in the branch put a complaint in for me, but now there is nothing to do but wait (& open & pay someone else's bills, as the card is most definitely on my credit report!!)

Really wanted a comfort spend after an hour & a half in the bank instead of enjoying the sunshine, so am very proud that i refused to let myself do it. I did get groceries, but only what was on the list & i needed them as i am cooking my dad a fathers day tea tonight.... oh & £5.78 in the pub, but that was definitely medicinal after watching the you know what

Today will be a LSD as i'll probably treat my dad to a cake & coffee while we're out looking at kitchens (not sure why, the kitchen budget only contains enough for a can opener at the mo!!!).

Right rant over, off to iron my kaftan for later :D

    :hello:hi all

Well, I did use some of my surprise gift card yesterday and I wasn't going to count it as it was 'free money' but after thinking about it I suppose that thinking like that is what got me into trouble with my credit cards in the first place .
So I am counting it as a spend day but I did get stuff that will stop me spending for the next couple of days :). That and overtime this weekend will help so will report back tomorrow.

Well done all and (((((((hugs))))) to poorly peeps

and :T postivelypurple for clearing your card.

Declaring NSD 14 early today as it's raining and I'm not going anywhere now. Really miffed as I put my washing out when there was blue sky. We had a shower and I left the washing out. We've now been having showers on and off for the last three hours and I really can't be bothered to get my wet washing in now!!!!!:(

.....I think my peg basket is full of water too.......

    Hi NSDers

NSD 10 :j for me today please spoon:):),

I have a question nsders.. do the days when direct debits come out of the account count as spending days? Or it only applies to the unplanned spends?

    Happy birthday Jinty and

wish you a speedy recovery Doraster.
