Morning everyone - sorry my postings have been a bit sparse the last few days - have been at work and really busy, so just had time for a quick glance at the thread.
Thanks for all the kind wishes re my Dad, thankfully he got out of hospital on Wed.They ran loads of tests and it turned out to be a bad chest infection so he got antibiotics and is feeling a lot better.:D
Im declaring another NSD for yesterday-up to 9, yipee! :jGetting there slowly! Just been updating my sig, my GC is under for my 6 mths to June (July starts today for me,pay day) so Im chuffed! :jHeaven knows what Id have spent had I not been doing this.
Waiting in for my shiny new laptop to arrive, the rest off the day will be spent setting it up! Wish me luck!
Have a lovely day all!:)

Been to the shops for the bits I needed...... so not an NSD for me today (but as I already knew it wasn't going to be - and it's my first spend day since Monday - I'm not toooooo upset about it)
No value peas or sweetcorn in Mr M - and no gap on the shelf for them either. Don't know if this means we've just not had a delivery or we've stopped stocking them, but I wasn't paying for the 'normal' ones even with staff discount. So I got peas from A!di. But they don't have sweetcorn either (ours never has had, but don't know if larger stores stock it?), so for a change I picked up a 'Mixed Veg Medley' bag.
Those bags of veg plus ham, frozen mushrooms, milk, and 4 small packs of pasta (down to 5p/bag in B+M - which I find useful to have in but actually 125g meant for babies 12 months+) set me back £5.48. Still need to get eggs, but I wanted to compare prices first. Jotted down cost in Mr M, then checked at A!di. Will be picking up on my way out of work tonight - though there isn't much in it 'per egg' on the shelf tickets (Mr M fractionally cheaper), my staff discount saves me a further 17p.
Once I pick up the eggs I have 98p left of my grocery budget for the first 6 months of the year - not even enough to get another 4pt milk, so I'm not going to make it
But as I was £60.75 overspent at the end of May, I'm actually very happy with how much of that I've managed to claw back this monthCheryl0 -
:hello: Morning all NSD'ers
Well despite being really good at the chemists I ended up spending 60p yesterday for two packets of rizlas  Am so cross with myself because I had lost one of the packets I got on Monday, still today is another day
I may pop to Te$co tonight after work to use my gift card as I won't count that as it is 'free money' so to speak to stock myself up for a few days so I can get some more NSDs in. I am really enjoying this this month.
Will check in again tomorrow to update. Well done everyonr and keep going

Go shopping, hand over your loyalty card and debit card
In a tired haze take both cards and put in 'loyalty card' section of purse
Panic that you can't find debit card
Ring bank and cancel card
Pay for petrol, discover debit card behind nectar card
Ring bank back shamefaced
Listen as bank worker who you can hear smirking at your stupidity tells you that once the card is stopped there's nothing that can be done about it and you'll just have to wait 7 days for a new one to be delivered
Here's to a no spend week folks
Declaring today as a NSD what a surprise lol0 -
Hi, I'm not managing very well this month, yesterday was only my 3rd NSD. I didn't realise how hard it is, everyday we seem to need something, oh well, ill get the hang of it eventually. I've got to get some petrol toniight and I've bought a bag of crisps at work cause I'm starving. Tomorrow we are having an early fathers day for OH as I am working Sunday, that'll be nice, hope the weather is good and that OH doesn't want to do anything expensive!!! Hope you all have a lovely weekend.Total Debt May 10 = £580920
