    Hi lovely NSD gang :A
Oooooh our trip to Stonehenge is getting ever closer, hope the assorted donkeys, camels, Tardis, broomsticks and other means of tranport are prepared and ready. ;) I have our Doctor Who stylee passes all ready to go, so policemen beware:eek:... pdd was putting the final touches on her presentation so we can look forward to learning all about stress joints and the stones:rotfl::rotfl:.....

    Another two targets met today:
:jmz_grim: and another little trotting pony awarded today. :jWell done for getting to no 10 - that’s brilliant, the pony is now yours!
Increasing your target to 15, you are now aiming for the dancing banana - good luck!!:T
:jHerby: yay ... well done for no 14 - that’s fantastic:j... the pony is fired up and heading your way right now...
Increasing your target to 18 now... the banana is ready and waiting:T

    Well done to:
:jpositivelypurple: well done for no 7 - that’s brilliant, over halfway there now..... but not such good news about the chickenpox. Hope everyone’s on the mend soon, well done for the major clear-out (spoon wonders aloud if pp has any spare time, spoon has a lot of stuff which needs to be de-cluttered:o:o....)
:jchris81418: yay well done for no 9 - well over halfway now, that’s brilliant. Keep going!:)
:jjintyb: well done for no 9 - that’s brilliant! You certainly are getting there, and not that slowly either!! And well done for the GC also - yay!!:T
Oooh, shiny new laptop arriving today... good luck with setting it all up! Oh no....... I am so sorry about all the problems:(....
:jhoney: well done for no 1 - off the starting blocks, that’s great. Keep going now, you’ll get there!:)
:jMainyasha: well done for no 9 - and you have every right to be proud of yourself, that’s brilliant!:T
:jmoneypenny2k: happy paperwork clearing (see comment to pp above, if you have any spare time:rotfl:......) and it seems like you might have this week as there will be no shopping.... oh dear to the card episode:(... but well done for unexpected NSD no 8!!
:jfi76: well done for getting to no 3 - that’s great! Don’t be too hard on yourself, getting NSDs sometimes takes a bit of practice and getting into a different routine. Maybe put some money aside at the beginning of the week for snacks, for example, on a spend day - little things like that can really help you along. You are halfway there as well now, so a big pat on the pack for you:T
:jLadyfromVenice: well done for no 13 - you’re doing brilliantly!! Oooh, naughty George again:rotfl:....
:jelfen: hope you gots lots of lovely new things today. Oooh 2 more over the weekend... will add them for you right now, taking you up to a magnificent total of 11 - well done!!:T

    And hello to everyone else:
Nargle: my extraneous extremities are crossed for you today as well for no 8 - but please hurry up, it’s getting a bit painful:p
cw18: well done on clawing back so much of your grocery budget this month, you’ve done brilliantly and had loads of bargains to boot!;)
kathy40uk: oh dear to the rizlas:( but, you’re right, today is another day and hopefully an NSD one.... onwards and upwards as the saying goes!!!
TMVen: glad you got the paint, hope you’re pleased with it and the rest of the room! Fingers crossed for 2 NSDs over the weekend!;)

I finally made it off no 13 today, so am now on no 14:j... the pony is getting every closer (just not quickly enough for me..)

Off to do the usual update and award two ponies tonight:j... see you all tomorrow

    ‘night all

MG_123.gif have a lovely day Jinty, sorry to hear about the laptop, these there PC's can be the curse of our life and cause so much frustrationviannen_112.gifhope something gets sorted out for you very soon, hope you have a super birthday though with lots of fun and nice surprises.

Up at ridiculous o'clock in chez herby, no idea why just couldn't sleep, must have been the excitement of getting my little pony. May be a spend day today as I'm off to a garden show to help out for a bit this morning then wander round in the afternoon, I intend to browse only, but may get tempted by the herbs. Have a good day everyone, hugs to all that need them.

  • Happy Birthday Jinty :bdaycake:

Well, the chicken poxed one seems to be on the mend. I think we've been incredibly lucky as very few spots and they seem to all have crusted over today (tmi?). Also illness is helping my NS challenge immensely as NSD 8 yesterday, I didn't leave the house at all.

I'm taking the other DC to a party today and it's very near the shops so may be tempted to have a quick look around and a dip into my purse. It's miles away from home but looking forward to having a proper chat up with DC in the car.

I can't remember if I shared my good news about the 100 day challenge - I met my target a few days ago and when I can actually get to the bank, will clear one of my cards altogether :T. Trying to decide if I'll top up the challenge with another target or just leave it until after the summer hols.

  • Declaring NSD No. 14/20 today :j

Went to a rugby match last night and OH paid for drinks (he's a good bean and knows whats the NSDs mean to me) and then today we have managed no spending as have been doing stuff round the house.

Just made some home-made scones which were scrummy and much more MSE than shop ones ;)

    Have a lovely weekend everyone.

    Morning all

Happy birthday jinty:bdaycake: As the (very incompetent) techie person in this house laptops are the bane of my life! I swear that when the kids leave home I will keep my books and a radio and the rest of the technology can go! Ahh simplicity!...but I might not be able to live without MSE :)

Well done Mr Herby on the degree and well done positivelypurple on your hundred day challenge.

I have managed another 2 NSDs on Thur and Fri. I have to shop today but shouldn't need anything tomorrow. Think I might make it!
August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.
