Im such a terrible, terrible truant! June has been a perfect storm for me - lots of maddness, hugely stressfull work, and moving flat on top of everything! We move in tomorrow, but theres been all the chaos and stress that comes with moving, of course.
Have fallen off the wagon MSE wise - I've been buying lunches at work, eating out, not cooking from scratch, taking the bus instead of walking... but from next week, once we are in the new place, it is ALL changing! Back on the bandwagon with me!
In the mean time, today was an NSD. Will need a kick up the bum from you all in July!!!
Mortgage free by 30:eek:: £28,000/£100,000Debt free as of 1 October, 2010

I'm making sure that I report my NSD early tonight
NSD number 13 for me please Spoon - did go out and did spend BUT what we bought at the auction this morning was for putting on eBay and I paid for it with PayPal card (eBay profit money) - so did not spend any 'real' money at all
Sunday is a spend day with car boot/shopping in the morning but Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday looking good for NSDs 14/15/16/17, so I'm hoping to hit my target of 17 on Thursday - catch that pony and saddle it up for me SpoonMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Not a good week for me but I'm declaring NSD Number 6 for today (saturday), with a bit of luck tomorrow will also be free from spending *crosses fingers and toes*

Hi lovely NSD gang :A
Hope everyone has had a good Saturday and managed to find some of that elusive sun. Hoping for a better day tomorrow or it’s going to be a bit chilly at Stonehenge in our hippy dresses (thermals may be required:rotfl:). PDD has prepared us a lovely presentation on the stones, Keiss has brought loads of chocolate for us to enjoy and I’m sure BigMumma will have a few surprises in store for us all. :rotfl:
Lots more NSDs today so:
Well done to:
:jchris81418: well done for no 10 - you really are on a roll now, that’s brilliant. Keep going:)
:jpositivelypurple: well done for no 8 - the chicken pox has really helped you this month, albeit a little unfortunate for the DC.
Well done on the 100 day challenge as well - brilliant news!!:T
:jteenyweenyspender: well done for no 14 - you’re having a brilliant month as well!
Lovely OH paying for the drinks, hope you enjoyed the match..... Oooh, I love home-made scones, so much more scrumptious than shop-bought ones:)
:jfranby64: well done for nos 7 and 8, you’re doing brilliantly. I think you will make it, only 4 more to get now!
Good luck with the shopping tomorrow, hope it’s relatively painless!:)
:jmissylaney: well done for no 4 - you’ve done well so far, and no 5 tomorrow would be brilliant! No matter what number of NSDs you achieve throughout the month, it is still something to be proud of. NSDs take some organisation and planning and sometimes it all goes to pot. Be proud of what you achieve, regardless of the actual number:)
:jOlipopsMummy: well done for getting to no 7, halfway there indeed. Keep going!:)
:jBDINI: well done for no 9 - your target is getting ever closer - brilliant!
Arrggggh  to your bank, what a pain in the **** and well done for resisting a comfort spend after that experience, you deserve a medal quite frankly.
Hope your dad enjoyed his father’s day tea today and that you’re all prepared for our outing tomorrow;)
:jDorastar: well done for getting to no 10 - halfway there now, that’s brilliant. Really sorry you’ve been poorly though :(and hope you’re on the mend very soon
:jkarenccs67: well done for no 11, that’s brilliant, your target is getting ever closer.
Yay - well done for the cake order, fantastic news!!:T
:jFirewalker: well done for no 6 - you’re doing brilliantly, keep going!:)
:jboultdj: yay... well done for no 9.. over the halfway mark now, that’s brilliant... keep going!:)
:jLadyfromVenice: well done for no 14 - your target (and pony) is growing every closer... keep going!
Arrggh to the washing, it’s been like that here today as well, my washing and has been on and off the line so many times it’s getting confused:(....
And I know, isn’t it annoying that The Doctor has already been at Stonehenge, I was hoping we were going to see him tomorrow;)
:jkatenut: well done for no 8 - you’re doing brilliantly this month, keep going!:)
:jMainyasha: well done for no 10 - you’re having a great month, only 5 more to get now, keep going!:)

:jTMVen: well done for no 14 - only 1 more to get now!!!
Sounds as though you’ve had a busy (and very trying) day.. but lovely DH bringing you a lemon tart, that’s lovely:)
:jverynewmoneysaver: well done for no 3 - keep going, you can make it!:)
:jCraigLoans: well done for no 7, you are indeed nearly halfway, keep going!
Hope you have a lovely weekend at home in Ireland:)
:janonymoose: well done for no 6 - halfway there now, that’s brilliant. Keeping my fingers crossed for you:)
:jKeiss21: yay, well done for no 12, that’s brilliant, your target is getting ever nearer!
Glad you enjoyed the rugby today, saw some of it myself, it beats football hands down. We’re all massing for our onslaught on Stonehenge tomorrow, hope to see you there. I’ve got our passes sorted, got some vuvuzelas for us to have some fun with as well, we have a powerpoint presentation, courtesy of pdd.. so all set I think... and you’ve brought some chocolate:T...
:jNatty68: well done for getting to no 11 - that’s brilliant!
Oh no, you’re going to miss our Stonehenge outing, sorry to hear that:(, but sounds as though you’re going to have a great time nonetheless. Hope you can join us for our Wimbledon do;)

:j3Dogs: yay well done for no 13 - only 4 more to get now, that’s brilliant! Your pony is saddled up and waiting patiently for you now:)
Brilliant news about the ebay buying today, you’re doing great on that as well.:T
:jMythi: well done for no 6 - only one more to get now. Keep going, you can do it!:)
And hello to everyone else:
Nargle: I had to uncross my extremities in the end, sorry, but it was getting too painful and then I started losing all feeling in them:rotfl:.. Will cross them again though when you next feel an NSD coming on.;)
Elfen has the Tardis all fired up and ready to go now.. Stonehenge beware, you might never be the same again:rotfl:
Herby: hope you have a lovely day at the garden show and manage to avoid those tempting herbs;)

kathy40uk: well done on the organised spending today and fingers crossed for an NSD tomorrow:)

I'm on 11/18 so far. Tomorrow will be a spend day, but I'll be putting away the money for the bread&milk topups, and the rest of the week should be NSD's. I should just scrape my target this month
Good luck to all on hanging onto your money this weekretirement savings target: £100,000 by 2032 start: £21200 Jun 22, Jun 23:0 -
Good morning everyone !
First of all, a huge thanks to you all for the birthday wishes.:A Im just catching up with the posts and was stunned by all the messages and smillies etc. You've made my day!:T:T:T
I had a lovely birthday, went out shopping in the morning with OH and he bought me a top I have been eyeing up and he also gave me money for a facial. My sister came up in the afternoon and we had a good old natter, got a giftcard from her plus books( which I adore)
Then in the evening we went for an Italian meal with M&D and the to see the Strictly Come Dancing professional show. Im a great fan of SCD and the show was FAB-U-LOUS. I would kill for a figure like those gals!:rotfl:
I also go a lovely call from a lady at the catalogue - full of apologies for the faulty laptop and arranged for it to be uplifted and a new one sent out with no hassle whatsoever, so thats a relief.:D
Back to reality today though - housework, washing and ironing. Its a beautiful day though so Im planning to go to my M&D's with father's day pressie and sit in the garden. So no spends!!
OH is working today which isnt so great for him, but gives us some OT money, which never goes wrong!
Hope you all have a wonderful day!:)
you will always be rich enough to be generous.0 -
Jintyb, glad you had a great birthday. I love to read too, I was wondering if you had seen the book offer in Iceland, spend £15 and get a free book. I've had 2 vouchers from them so 2 out of the 3 books are on their way, they may or may not be any good but hey, free books from buying weekly groceries can't be all bad.***Dont save what is left after spending, spend what is left after saving***0

Good morning everyone!
No NSD for me yesterday as I joined the No To the Bike Parking Tax demo and donated the loose change in my pocket to the cause.
Next week I have only £30 to last me until pay day (Friday), so I just might have to do some eBaying on Monday and Tuesday to raise some extra cash!
Thanks as ever Spoon for keeping this thread going and updating our totals, have a good Sunday everyone!:money: Proud to [STRIKE]be dealing with[/STRIKE] have dealt with my debts! :money:
