Morning
I managed another NSD yesterday. Halfway :j
I'm getting a T*sco delivery this afternoon so I'll nip round to the C*op this morning and get some eggs, bread and hopefully some bargains. I should last 'til Saturday.
I've found the things that stop me lasting longer are fruit, which we eat a lot of and I don't want to change that and bread as I only have a small freezer and can't fit much in. I Need to find some HM bread that the kids will eat.
Happy birthday to moneypenny :bdaycake:August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.0 -
LOTS of Peeps celebrating this week & my eldest baby will be *wiggles fingers over lips* on Saturday too
Got a hooooooooodge chokkit cake yesterday & there's a lump of beef in the freezer from a bargainous offer earlier in the year BUT...can't go shopping Friday cuz there's a man who wants to check my connections *nodding with tongue pushed firmly into cheek, Kenneth Williams stylee*
so I'll have to take muvva again tomorrow (I shouldn't need too much after the stuff I got yesterday--famous last words!) & the Birthday Child has arranged a meal on Friday with someone else who is counting candles too. Now you can see why I tried so hard to get those early nsds!!!
Still..the money is in the pot if & when the window cleaner turns up & I've paid for the flowers so just need to collect them for Father's Day, & everything gifty-wise is done for Saturday....WOW.....didn't know I was that organised!!!!Full time Carer for Mum; harassed mother of three;loving & loved by two 4-legged babies.

Happy birthday Moneypenny! Hope you have a great day.
Today is a spend day today, NEED to get that fuel! Hopefully tomorrow will be a NSD as working from home, so won't be going out.
Have a good day everyone!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

:bdaycake:happy birthday moneypenny, 21 again no doubt!!!
Well I shouldn't be here but I am cos I should have been at the other end of the country but I'm not due to a complete administrative b$lls up and a runny tummy (not mine!!!) (any of it!)
So I did have an NSD day yesterday, a completely wasted day I might add but I didn't spend any of my money!
So that's one more for yesterday.
I have had to cobble together to-day (professionally I mean) (now that sounds bad, nothing illegal or smutty!!)
but am going to declare an NSD to-day now cos I won't be spending.
I'm having the week from Hell and may feel it necessary to just lie down in a darkened room by Friday with a very large G&T
So looking forward to chilling on one of those big stones, I thought about 10.30 for my Powerpoint on how the big flat ones got up there, that should take us nicely to midnight, something to look forward to folks:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:More than Two Years in

Wanders in after having a random thought about what we're going to do about all the [STRIKE]Lay[/STRIKE] Ley lines around the henge, don't want any unplanned accidents
it could be dicey as it's supposed to be built on a vortex of the things, so proper protection must be worn at all times methinks! Had another random thought that as there are no uniformed chaps (unless BMF has a thing for druid type robes?) all should be well, no chaps in shorts etc.
But that was scuppered when I realised being Solstice weekend there will be loads of policemen in uniform doing their crowd control thing at Stonehenge, so we have to be vigilant ladies, I've read about the chaos that ensued on previous outings, so we must be prepared.
For those who want to celebrate the Solstice properly then you'll have to be there at approximately 4:50am on June 21stI shall join any very [STRIKE]mad[/STRIKE] keen people later as I will be [STRIKE]sleeping[/STRIKE] doing important stuff at that ungodly hour.
Well done everyone for all the NSD's rolling in, and to those people not getting as many as they would like, keep going, whilst you're trying your keeping track of what you're spending and not slipping back into old ways so for that you get.
Somebody, somewhere, sometime (stalling cos I can't remember who or when) said something like "It's not the winning it's the taking part", think we can adapt that as an NSD slogan, "It's not the NSD's you get that matter, it's the taking part" or some of us could say "It's not the NSD's that matter, it's the little pony at the target"Anyway wibble over for now, fingers crossed I'll get another NSD today, pasta for tea tonight and doing some baking this afternoon so nothing to go and buy, thought I needed printer ink but DH bought some yesterday out of his money so I don't have to. Off to peg out the washing now, lovely day here, may even sit in the garden with me latest book for an hour with a coffee, nothing like living dangerously is there lol!
