cw18: hope the next 8 pints lasts a bit longer than the last....
Me too ;) To be fair to DS, he came home from college yesterday evening, opened the fridge, and called through to the living room "I thought you weren't buying any more milk until Friday?". So he was obviously trying to eek the remains of the green milk out until then :) Had really expected to have to get some today, so it's only had to be bought one day early.....
oooh 90p/day for the rest of the month is going to be interesting - good luck!
At least my freezers and cupboards are full - and I have the second pizza in stock for when I'm at OH's later in the month, which (alongside the milk we'll still need) would have been one of the bigger spends
Hope you’re OK to go back to work tomorrow.
Feeling a lot better today - yesterdays tea (gammon joint with mash and veg) doesn't seem to have caused any 'problems'. Just absolutely shattered - think being at home this week has been harder work than being in the bakery rolleyes2.gif
    How’s the decluttering project going?;)
Took more boxes to the storage yesterday, plus did a tip run.

Have more stuff ready for storeage, more for the tip (probably enough to need it out of the way, though I could get more into the car), two bags of stuff for a friend (boys clothes that should fit one or the other of her two - can someone please tell me why I've found 7-8, 10-11 and 11-12 year old boys clothes in my living room when my youngest will be 19 next month.... especially given we've only lived here 8 years!!!), and two bags of clothes/towels/bedding for a local charity shop.

As a result I've almost reclaimed my living room (would like to be able to get the vaccuum out tonight, and the carpet washer tomorrow morning), but think I can say with confidence that the missing P45 isn't in here unknown.gif

    Managed another one today...only just!

DD1 came home this afternoon and announced she had to cook something of her choice tomorrow at school. The first words out of my mouth were "I'm not going to the shops!!" These NSDs are too hard got to be thrown away like that!

Anyway we have managed to get the stuff together for a chicken curry (I should say that if she'd really needed something I'd have got it) and the NSD is saved!!

Really going to try for another tomorrow.
    Have a good evening.

It really annoys me when school sends my son home with a receipe for the following morning, firstly I would like more notice and secondly if I've been good and planning a NSD, this totally spoils it.... LOL and thirdly when the teacher gets the date wrong, letter said he was making Eton Mess on 9 June.... so I bought all the ingredients at the weekend when I did my weekly shop only to find out on Tuesday evening that the teacher got the date wrong and he is now making it tomorrow, now I need to buy some more fresh cream and possibly more strawberries.....:mad::mad: what a waste of money...:mad::mad:.

    Hi Solvent

I am a mad keen dressing up, convention going Discworld fan.
My first convention was in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008 and one coming up this August. Also been to one in USA, Germany and Ireland. I go at least twice a year to gatherings in Wincanton and I love the town so much I bought a house there built in 1430. Retiring there in a couple of years.

I also go camping at an event in Nottinghamshire every year.

I dress up like crazy. This year I have been the Green Man, and I have planned a schoolmistress, a schoolgirl, Lady Margolotta a reformed vampire and a ghoul in the Rocky Horror Discworld show.
I seriously have more costume stuff in my wardrobe than 'real' clothes!!

    Correction......

    Yes it is :T

Found one last (and very unexpected) pile of paperwork sandwiched between some magazines..... several important pieces of paperwork there, but the most important (for now) is the P45 :D
