Sadly no NSD for me today. I thought I could do it but then I had to pay £1 for parking meter while I went for dental check up.:(
And to cap it all I need to have filling replaced. Made appt for after next payday though. Once upon a time I would have bunged it on credit card and thought no more about it (cos it's not really money is it:rotfl:)DeeBee0 -
Moneypenny - don't waste a perfectly good blunt can opener on scum, when your own fingers can do the job just as well.....poor, poor puddy tat!
On a brighter note, it just shows even more so how nice the NSD gang is!One life - your life - live it!0 -
Number 7 for me todayBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

I don't understand how anyone can be cruel to animals, ive just spent the last half hour resueing a wild bunnie from my cat.
Unfortunatly its not going to make it so i put it in a box with an old cloth in peace to go to sleep (stupid cat) although the bunnie didnt help himself by running into the stream!!!
You would have laughed your socks off if you could have seen the three of us trying to rescue it!!!Im not financially savvy as im still learning but i love to support anyone that needs it and give virual hug's and tea!!!Can't do Bickie's Sorry, need to lose weight!!!Challenge 1 : Sealed Pot Challenge, No : 810Challenge 2 : Dragon's wake up callChallenge 3 : Aug 8/15 NSD's0 -
Managed another one today...only just!
DD1 came home this afternoon and announced she had to cook something of her choice tomorrow at school. The first words out of my mouth were "I'm not going to the shops!!" These NSDs are too hard got to be thrown away like that!
Anyway we have managed to get the stuff together for a chicken curry (I should say that if she'd really needed something I'd have got it) and the NSD is saved!!
Really going to try for another tomorrow.
Have a good evening.August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.0 -
Evening All
nasty cat shooting broken brains, I'll hold em while you wield the canopener, or better still an old blunt potato peeler.
Another cunning plan suceeded, liquid gold just eeked out (came home on air) and lunch with company CC. So I have another one!!!
Long journey in not great conditions with the aliens gibbering and Hubert braying, I'm just about ready for a wee lie down but it sure keeps your mind off spending money. Fancy the Discworld thingy, I lovvvve Terry Pratchett, he is one of my heroes.
Off to lie down and muse............More than Two Years in
Doing it the Niddy way:j:j:j0 -
Ooh Rentawitch, tell us more!! A Discworld event sounds intriguing, I love Terry Pratchett - you can't get a word out of me when a new book comes out until I've read it from cover to cover in one sitting
Spend day for me today but I don't mind - DH has gone on a diet and is doing really well, and asked for more banana's for his packupI'm really proud of him, he's never tried so hard before but he seems really motivated this time.
Still, how come I only went for bananas and natural yoghurt, and came out 12 quid lighter??!! I may know where my money used to disappear to now - a quick nip into the shop, starving hungry, after a long day at work = buying stuff we dont really need!Trying to jump back onto the moneysaving wagon .... :cool:0 -
No you didn't - nobody fails on here
We just "don't quite succeed"
So true Cheryl !

Moneypenny2k - that is horrible!! Poor cat - I hope he is feeling better now?
It's amazing how many animals we get brought into the vets with airgun pellets, it shocks me how anyone can do that to an animal, especially someones pet :mad:Trying to jump back onto the moneysaving wagon .... :cool:0
