As long as you know you're going to have to call it while you have Internet access, then try SayNoTo0870. I can often find a geographical alternative to numbers I need to call.... cheaper than an 0870 even from a landline
(Or, in some cases, the literature from the company also print a 'from abroad call......' number. You can use that instead by replacing the country access part of the printed number with a zero)
:T:Tthanks cw18, that's handy, searching and saving all 087 numbers in my phone book right now:D.
Can't find Blackhorse PPI complaints department number though:( I must have spent over £2.50 on hold to them:(Directloan:Feb2011 - £4152.64

I'm stuck on 3 days, had to spend £30.20 for my weekly travel oyster. Will have to get the fresh milk and all fresh essentials today - hopefully I'll manage the next few days without spending. Well done all.Directloan:Feb2011 - £4152.64

Moneypenny - I was horrified to hear about your poor kitty - I just cannot understand how anyone can be cruel to animals - it is just so unnecessary and mindless, makes me bloomin mad:mad: Hope he's on the mend soon. That sounds a fab deal for your spa treatments -you enjoy it. (PS - Im a Janet too, Jinty is a Scottish nickname for Janet and a lot of my family and friends call me that! )
Ahhh I didn't know that Jinty, apparently I could have been called anything as my family cut up a copy of the TV times and drew a name out of the hat to give me. I was named after Janet Scott. I'm thankful that Fanny Craddock wasn't on that week...
Mind you when I was growing up in the 60s you were Janice, Janet or Susan... maybe Deborah. I wanted to be Charlotte...
Spoony, thanks for good wishes re Jinx, he's enjoying the attention and is now out about about again thankfully.
Herby your neighbours sound horrid. I'd buy some itching powder and sprinkle it all over their garden furniture.
I don't know where today has gone but it's a nsd for me. Grey and yukky though it may be, I hope tomorrow will be nicer.0 -

Now, let's plan our non-spending NSD gang outings this month......21st for Stonehenge, complete with druid outfits and barbecue stuff, who's bringing the pork pies? Then there is a suggestion of a cider-quaffing chav bash in the alleyways of Leeds - got to get the Burberry gear out of the attic and slap on the dayglo orange foundation - when is it, anybody?
oK Nargle I'll bring the shortbread and the whisky and my blue angel frock, flowers in my hair, a flower round my neck, am I getting a bit San Frannish here???
I'm still trying to source the chavvy jammies for leeds, but am on the case, am not that fond of lager, does it have to be lager, or is Pimms not suitable for BDINI back alley???
Didn't score an NSD, maybe I should rephrase that, sounds a bit suspect, didn't manage an NSD to-day as ran out of bread and had to buy some lunch, but it was LSD, no maybe that's not what I meant either. Anyway, no extras towards my total Spoon, please.
Off to feed Hubert and find out where the aliens are, could have done with them to-day...........More than Two Years in
Doing it the Niddy way:j:j:j0 -

Name the date guys, my back garden is always free (or even the spare room if you all want to pile in together!!!).
July maybe? to give us all time to recover from the Stonehenge trip....pure_dead_dopey wrote: »I'm still trying to source the chavvy jammies for leeds, but am on the case, am not that fond of lager, does it have to be lager, or is Pimms not suitable for BDINI back alley???
Cider is the drink of choice PDD, preferably the nasty sort in the plastic bottles that's never seen an apple :rotfl: or failing that Lambrini or a coloured alcopop. If you fancy pims tho, go for it, at least you know none of the chav's will try & steal it!!
NSD 6 for me today :j & a nice little bonus in the form of a cheque, although not as nice as Keiss's, £7.47 from the solicitors as they overcharged me last August!!!! Tempted to ask for the interest, but think that might be pushing my luck :rotfl:February NSD challenge 5/150
