Hi Xenius,
If you're getting the money back from the buyer, then I wouldn't count it as a spend - that's what most people on here do, anyway...
Hope that helps.

And PS: 2 NSDs isn't rubbish.... it's 2 days when none of those horrible retailers have had any of your money, that's something to celebrate:j:j.... so well done:jThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

I am a mad keen dressing up, convention going Discworld fan.
My first convention was in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008 and one coming up this August. Also been to one in USA, Germany and Ireland. I go at least twice a year to gatherings in Wincanton and I love the town so much I bought a house there built in 1430. Retiring there in a couple of years.
I also go camping at an event in Nottinghamshire every year.
I dress up like crazy. This year I have been the Green Man, and I have planned a schoolmistress, a schoolgirl, Lady Margolotta a reformed vampire and a ghoul in the Rocky Horror Discworld show.
I seriously have more costume stuff in my wardrobe than 'real' clothes!!

That sounds brilliant and great fun, good for you. :T:T:T

Checking in with NSD number 8 Spoon - hubbie had to nip to mate's house and needed to put diesel in the van, but mate paid for that, and gave him £30 from profit he made on some models he sold which hubbie had helped him with (does that make sense? ....)
I've put 21st in my diary now - Stonehenge here we come - I've been there once as few years ago now - took Mam & Dad down to visit aunt down that way and had a run out to see it - the weather turned really nasty and we only just made it there as the car spluttered to a halt. Had to ring AA and it was before the time of 30 minute wait if lady driver stuck as we had to wait over 2 hours. Anyway, by the time he came, the rain had stopped and the sun hadcome out. He asked me to turn over the engine and it started no probs. I felt so foolish - I had not been driving long at all and it was the first time I had called out AA ...... mind you I have called them out lots of times since
Anyway, back to StoneHenge - do we have special permission to actually go into the stone circle - normal people are no allowed but I am sure we will be - Spoon can you arrange that for us pease????Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12

:jchris81418: well done for no 4 - brilliant! Not so good about being mega-busy at work though!
:jJo_Rourke: well done for no 2 - brilliant! Fingers crossed for some more in the next few days. Keep going though, don’t get disheartened, sometimes NSDs take a bit of practice:)
:jjwil: well done for no 3 - love the sweepstake IOU, you’ll go far in this challenge! Keep going!:)
:jslowlyfading: well done for no 8 - isn’t it surprising how having no money means more NSDs. You’re doing great, keep going!:)
:jboultdj: well done for no 5, you’re doing brilliantly - keep going!
Yuk to rain, but great to the water butt being fully, apparently we’re due for a drought if we don’t get some serious rain soon:eek: .....
:jmoneypenny2k: well done for no 4 - you’re doing brilliantly - keep going!
Funny, I wanted to be called Charlotte as well, always was my dream name...
Glad Jinx is doing better, I’m sure he’s loving all the attention and cuddles.:T
:jTMVen: well done for no 8 - you’re over halfway now, that’s brilliant!
And liking the reclaiming debts bit:T......

And it worked - well done for no 5 - nearly half way now:)
:jcw18: ooh, has DS turned over a new leaf re the milk situation? Glad you’re feeling better now, hope work wasn’t too bad today? Well done on the decluttering - and for finding your P45

:jBDINI: well done for no 6, nearly halfway now, that’s brilliant! Love the cheque as well -this is clearly the month for refunds for everyone - yay!!
We need to sort out a date for our chav night, will get onto it tomorrow, thanks for putting us all up!:T
:jSurfbabe: well done for no 3, you’re doing great, keep going!:)
:jpipersky: well done for no 4 - you’re doing great, yippeee indeed! Keep going:)

:jGeebee: well done for no 4 - only 1 more to get now - that’s brilliant!:T
:jHerby: great thing about this NSD thread is the support everyone gives each other - it’s a lovely place to be and that is down to BigMumma who started this off (and is currently not around much due to pooter problems). We all owe her a huge thank you.
:mad:Grrrrrr to your neighbours, they sound like a right pain in the ****, don’t blame you one little bit for wishing for rain at the weekend.
Hope you got all your chores and ironing done today and hopefully had some time to spoil yourself a bit
And well done for no 8 - that’s brilliant. Glad you had some time for you today as well, that’s what you need atm.
Normally one of us scales monuments on our nights out - we have to keep BigMumma in check normally, not sure who it’s going to be at Stonehenge:rotfl:..
:jKeiss 21: well done for no 7 - you’re doing brilliantly this month!:)
:jCraigLoans: well done for no 2, you’ve got going now, that’s brilliant. Fingers crossed for some more over the weekend.:)
:jFirewalker: well done for no 4 - you’re also doing brilliantly. As Dorastar also discovers, working long hours usually means an NSD - got to be some benefit from spending too much time working! Keep going!:)
:jkathy40uk: well done for no 3 - that’s brilliant. Hoping for a no spend weekend for you - as we said above, working usually means NSDs, so fingers crossed for you.:)
:jXevius: well done for no 2 - you are doing great, not rubbish at all. Have a think about your postage spends, that might throw a whole new light on things for you. Keep going!:)
:j3Dogs: well done for no 8 - you’re doing brilliantly! Yes, it does make sense;)...
Good memories of Stonehenge for you, I see. Yes, we will need permission to access the stone circle, passes are already being sorted out for us as we definitely are not normal people - we are very special!!!:)
And hello to everyone else:
karenccs67: :mad:grrrrrr to your son’s teachers, don’t they realise you’re trying to get NSDs - what a waste of time and money, that’s ridiculous
jintyb: great, glad you like the awards, you will get the pony, I’m sure of that! And thanks, that’s lovely of you.:o
Glad you enjoyed your lunch yesterday, it’s good to meet up occasionally, and a bargain price for lunch as well, got to be good!
Oooh, love the sound of the cakes, can we have some to add to the Stonehenge picnic?;)
Looloo: I am green with envy at you going to see BonJovi - have a lovely time:T
Mainyasha: hope the shopping today wasn’t too painful, fingers crossed for NSDs over the next few days for you:)

Good morning all you lovely NSDers, will have to spend a bit today and tomorrow but Sunday should be a NSD and probably Monday as well - we shall see......We will probably have to get to Stonehenge around the 19th/20th to erect the barricades so no-one else can get in, otherwise we will not get a space what with all the usual summer solstice visitors milling around. So that is at least a couple of nights camping to think about as well. If we sling a few hammocks between the stones we should have it sorted, I think. We could also sling a washing line between some of the stones so we can rinse out our unmentionables. One life - your life - live it!0

I can't come to Stonehenge as it's my DD2's 1st birthday on 21st
