sarah - you need 2 claims for 2 contracts. There is loads of info on the Mobile Outlet thread - see the post by the cashback collector on the first page for loads of good info...hth

Anyone got an email address for them? Which they might reply to?
  • On what grounds can I claim the full amount which is not overdue yet? I just don't want to put the wrong thing down on the form!
    Thanks

    Hi

I have used this email address - esales@simply3g.co.uk - good luck and I hope that you get something other than the standard 'thank you for your patience' email from them.

I believe that you can claim the full amount as they have broken the terms and conditions of the contract to which you both agreed (in breach of contract). There is some stuff in the Mobile Outlet forum thread as well about how to go about the claims and Mobile Junkie and Quentin are usually hanging around and are an invaluable source of advice.

Good luck and let us know how you get on.

Claiming the full amount is possible because they have commited a FUNDAMENTAL BREACH of their contract with you by not paying you on time. This will leave them liable for ALL the cashback due, even if it hasn't yet got to the time you should have claimed each of the remaining instalments....

p.s. yes, the Mobile Outlet thread has kept many of us busy for, let's see, around a year or so :D

  • Hi

I'm new to allof this. My wife and I are now both owed two cheques each and more are due.

If we were to cancel our direct debits for the remaining 4 months left would we be liable to be prosecuted by Three and would we be forfeiting our entitlement to the cheques already owed.

Do not cancel your direct debits with three. They could technically prosecute you. You could contact them however and make them aware of your situations. I did this a week or two ago and they are 'investigating'. If you do intend to contact three - I wold recommend using their online email facility: http://www.three.co.uk/personal/help_support_/contact_us_/feedback_query.omp

Least that way you will get the issue logged in your own words rather than have to explain it all to someone who's first language isnt English and may not log down exactly what you want said. If you look back a couple of pages on this thread - there is a copy of what I sent through to them - i dont know if it will be of any help to you.

BUT WHATEVER YOU DO DO NOT CANCEL YOUR PAYMENTS TO THREE.

    Good luck
