You tell it what songs you like or it can discover it from what you play most and then you can get it to play other songs you might like... or you can just ask it to play songs based on one song that you like at that moment in time.

The software is also available to the iPhone (see i'm not discriminating here) but not sure about Symbian etc.

I use lastfm at home on the pc from time to time.

Don't use the phone (Desire) for music at all.

Never used any phone for music.

Genius is BUILT IN to the iphone and iTunes so the devices fit tight together

Lucy, it knows what mood you in as you start it when you're listening to a song.. so if you're listening to Shinedown - Devour, it will know you want some awesome grunge rock to get pented up for something and give you that
