Three have a very limited supply of iPhone 4, just like all the other providers. You need to register your interest in the iPhone on their website (http://www.three.co.uk/Phones/iPhone#Register) as an existing customer and if they have any available in your area they will give you first refusal. In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move. The late, great, Douglas Adams.0

i dont know if this has been mentioned before on this thread but the battery life of the iphone4 is absolutely crap.
Dont get me wrong i love the phone it is amazing but its being spoilt for me with the rubbish battery they have put in it.
Does anyone else get about 16 hrs of life out of theirs or is it just me? according to apple its supposed to have 300 hrs on standby but thats just laughable i would have to switch everything off 3g, location services, wi-fi and not use it at all just to get it to last to a tenth of that figure.
anyway thats my moan over for today but id be happy to hear what everyone else gets out of their batteries.0 -

i very much doubt wifi is included in their standby times
the standby times relate to how long a battery last with the phone sitting unused but ready to make calls/texts0 -
i am considering getting it at the end of the year (contract finishes) but if theres problem with signal and battery i might as well wait and consider my options0

Did you have a iPhone before?
As with my 3GS battery life just lasts the day. Some days i need to charge it during the day. But i have everything switch on and use 3G for data in the day as no Wifi at work.
But on my recent holiday abroad i had everything switched off and only used phone for text and calls in 3 days i had only used 70% of the battery.
But in the whole i am now used to what i can do each day with a 3GS to ensure i have enough battery life that i need.
And when i finally get a 4G it will probably take a month or so for me to get used to the battery on the new one.0 -

I use to call on average 20 minutes a day and send about 15 texts
I get about 2 days worth of battery with this. I turn the wifi off when I don't need it and have my email on manual not "push to"0 -
I switched everything off last night after i took it off charge and the battery was 100%, that was just before i went to bed 7 hrs later when i got up it had gone down to 79%!
now 2 hrs later its now down to 70% and i havent used it, the 3g, wifi, email and the brightness are all off.
this is my first iphone but compared to my old ericsson which i only had to charge once a week its diabolical0 -

You can't compare an iPhone to your old sony ericsson. Smartphones do so much more than standard mobile phone handsets, they are essentially mini-computers, and alongside that comes higher power requirements. Virtually all smartphones need charging daily. Compared to a laptop that lasts just 2-3 hours on one charge, they actually do pretty good.
i agree with you but why do apple claim 300 hrs on standby when the phone struggles to reach a tenth of that figure?0 -
Just phoned Tesco mobiles and ordered mine, run out of 16 gb , gave in and bought a 32gb. They say they have hundreds of 32 s.:T0
