  • Ordered mine from Vodafone on £35 18 month contract at 7am this morning. This message has since appeared on the website:

    iPhone 4 - Now available to order
    We've seen huge demand for the iPhone 4 on Vodafone - we've sold everything we have at the moment. We have more iPhone 4s coming in the next couple of weeks. To make sure you are one of the first to get your hands on this fantastic new phone on our outstanding network, just place your order online and we'll send your phone as soon as we can. Once you've ordered, sit back and relax - we'll e mail you regularly about expected delivery dates. When your iPhone 4 is ready to be dispatched, we'll also contact you by email to let you know it's on it's way.
    Our contact centres will be sharing the same information with customers who call - so please keep a look out for our emails.

    Not worried about the reported problems - sounds like a software issue and even it's not Apple will have to put it right or replace affected models.

    i also ordered mine from voda at 840am, that message started showing about 850 so im hopeful that ive just sneaked into the cut, the confirmation email i received suggests i did because if you try and buy one now its comes under 'back order' this was not the case with mine so heres hoping a credit check later will have mine sent out soon:beer:

    Same thing happened to my iPod Touch after upgrading to ios4. Maybe that's what happened to Steve Jobs when he launched it, seems like ages ago

    You are about 2hrs too late and it isn,t that massive, it's just a software flaw that self rectifies after a few seconds and will be fixed soon. Don't be such a drama queen.

    Excellent - just got an e-mail saying my credit check was okay although then it went on to say:

    If you have ordered an iPhone please be aware that UK stock is extremely limited and you may have to wait a little longer to get your iPhone. We'll email you regularly about expected delivery dates. When your iPhone is ready to be dispatched, we'll also contact you by email to let you know it's on it's way.

    Hopefully they will dispatch on a first come first served basis.

    yea indeed I am, just wanted a change from o2 and vodafone seemed to have a package that was ideal for me
