How come 3GS users are reporting the same thing after upgrading to 4.0? :rotfl: Software update might just fix it then.

To think for one second that Apple wouldn't have tested this !!!!! to the max is crazy.

I think even with the issues it is still a good phone and Apple will sort it out soon and I want one, I will just wait untill Apple have sorted the issues out first

Well the nice UPS man delivered mine earlier and wow, this thing is gorgeous. Screen is just perfect, no yellow blobs ... Phew!

mine was delivered while i was out this morning! luckily, my wonderful little brother sat in and waited, just in case, and it was waiting for me when i got home!!

no yellow blotches on the screen - it's absolutely beautiful!!

as i posted in another thread, the signal bars on mine do drop down when i hold it a certain way, but it seems temporary - they come back up again and i've been making some calls to test it and call quality isn't affected. my ipod touch drops signal bars when i'm holding it and using wifi and it's only done this since updating with the latest software, so i don't think it's a big hardware issue like people are making it out to be.

It's almost inevitable that some items of any product will be faulty, the vast majority will be fine. It's just because the iPhone is so high profile that these are being reported. You'll not hear from the thousands who will be happily using them.

I'm not concerned by these issues, if I had a problem it can go back to Apple and be replaced.

A friend of mine took a chance and went to see what the queues were like at the o2 store. He got there just before 8, only a couple of people ahead of him and he got a 32gb black phone :]
