Will TESCO have them in store tomorrow???

They should do. I contacted my local Tesco store this evening, spoke to a sales person in their Phone dept and he confirmed that they will be on sale from 9am - contract only though.

    CarPhoneWarehouse stock availability email says:

You will only be able to buy an O2 or Orange iPhone 4 if you are an upgrading customer.

.. what do people understand by that?

    no PAYG?
    vodafone only for new customer?
    upgrading customers only?

  • Hi guys

I preordered an iphone 4 from the Apple website last week and the estimated ship date was 5 July 2010. Apple charged my credit card on the day, however I had a look at my credit card account today and I can't see the charge anymore. I checked my order status and its still says order placed etc and that it will ship on 5 July. Is this normal? Will apple charge me once the phone is in stock?

    Thanks

It was just an authorisation charge, they didn't claim the money. They'll claim the money when your phone ships :)

    Pre-Authorisation??

Pre-authorization of your credit card is technically a "hold" on your credit card credit line from a purchase placed there by a merchant who has initiated a charge, but not completely processed it. When the merchant actually completes the charge process (when your iPhone is delivered), the pre-authorization amount will be replaced by an actual charge debited from your card.

Doh.. to slow.. as above poster said! :D
