oooh.... microsim! i want one! i read on the o2 forums that some people had managed to get microsims from o2 stores already, but i rang a couple of the stores closest to me and one said they didn't know when they were getting microsims (i was apparently the first person to tell them that they should have them on Monday!) and the other said they definitely couldn't supply them in Monday because they don't have them
don't know why i'm in such a rush! i don't even have my simplicity sim yet (should arrive on Monday, i think), so i'd have trouble sorting out the sim swap until then anyway!
is it just me, or are the days dragging? lol. i only pre-ordered my iphone on Tuesday, but it feels like it was months ago!!
Yes it is sooo dragging and I can't wait- I'm an iphone Virgin;)
I've everything ready to sign up ready on the side- driving license and lots of different utility bills and bank statements.
Roll on Thursday:D0 -
dj, does the sim have your number/contract on it already? ie, can you use it in your current phone (pre-micro) pending receipt of your iPhone?
Surely if everything is moving towards the microsim, phone providers will start supplying new sims in this format anyway to save money - credit card sized, with 2 sets of break-off tabs for you to select the appropriate size for your phone. It would be cheaper in the long runIn the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move. The late, great, Douglas Adams.0 -

No, they come unregistered. Just filled in the online form and the new microsim started working within seconds! I am using it without popping it out of the larger sim until iPhone 4 (works 100%)Hardcore moneysaver0 -
I'm hoping my new simplicity sim will arrive in the post on Monday (they sent it out on Wednesday, but it's not here yet
) and then I'm going to visit my local O2 store to pick up a microsim and get my simplicity contract swapped over so that I'm all set up well in advance of my iphone arriving on Thursday
that's the plan, anyway... knowing my luck, my simplicity sim has got lost in the post and won't arrive, my O2 store won't have microsims on Monday.... lol.
something has to go wrong!! well... something other than my other half's reaction when i admitted that i had pre-ordered the iphone 4! he was not really impressed when i told him how much it cost!!0 -
Looking at taking out a business £65 a month contract with 02 which probably will include the new iphone as included in the deal. If I sold it privately how much would I get for it roughly? I could go for simplicty only at £55 per month, also locked in to a 24 month contract - any sugestions. Would prefer a bulk standard samsung or nokia at around £100 which I could pick up as a pay as you go and hopefully make some £ from selling the i phone??0
