Would Orange let me put that towards the cost of the £119 phone, with papa's permission of course!
If the £30 off is like a voucher then I don't see why not! If its a promotion only on certain phones then you have no chance[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

ecossesays - I was going to ring now but my contract doesn't expire until the 26th so i think i will ring on the 24th.
Would be good to hear how we can reserve them before though.0 -

I think it's something to do with everytime he tops up a certain amount gets banked towards a new phone. Maybe as two seperate accounts they won't let me. Worth trying though. Looking at anyway poss to knock some of that £119 off.0 -
Just had a live chat which went round in circles a bit about getting a microsim. Not sure he didnt say the last bit just to get rid of me!
Welcome to O2 live chat. Someone will start chatting with you soon.
You're through to Ally.
Ally: Hi I'm Ally from O2 Online Chat. How can I help you today?
Tim: Hi Ally
Tim: I have a 12 month simplicity contract with yourselves for iPhone.
Tim: I have pre-ordered an iPhone 4 direct from Apple and am wondering how to go about getting a new microsim for it
Ally: Sure, I'll help you with this.
Tim: So how will I get a microsim? Thanks
Ally: Please click here to register online.
Tim: I've clicked yes to being an existing O2 customer and no to already having a microsim
Tim: But then the next part starts by saying "Purchase your new iPhone from O2", but I am buying it from Apple?
Ally: That's ok.
Tim: But how will i actually get the microsim. These instruction are based on you getting a microsim when you buy from O2. I wont get a microsim with my iPhone from Apple as its SIM free
Ally: Click here to register your interest for iPhone 4
Tim: I've already done that, all it says is you might get sent a microsim. Will you DEFINITELY get a microsim if you register? Surely many more people will register than will actually go through and buy an iPhone?
Ally: I understand, it'll ask you to buy the phone which you don't need but just select that option as then they'll send you the details.
Ally: Yes you should receive it before 24 June 2010 or else you can email call us or get one from the nearest 02 store.
Tim: Thanks for your help0 -
Why is the 4 more expensive than the 3gs was on contract? I thought pricing was to be the same?0

I was about to but they have a recorded message saying if you were calling about the iPhone4 the representatives have no information at present blah blah etc etc. Wasn't in the mood for a "did you not listen to the recorded message" conversation so just hung up.
Call Orange as if you are thinking of leaving and ask for a PAC code. When they ask why, say you want to get the new iPhone 4 on another network. They 'might' be able to help you then.0 -

It might be worth your while doing an 18 month contract and 6 months Simplicity. Here is a comparison spreadsheet I made that compares these options: https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0ApfeHZ96DqZMdGIwd0lfV2sxRHlwWWV4NW4zYUVaVVE&hl=en_GB#gid=00 -
