I am debating upgrading my Natwest current account to their Advantage Blue. Its £6.95 a month - and guess what? It includes free mobile insurance!! Up to the value of £750 :)

I thought about this too, but think HSBC want more than that :( ?

Could I open up an account with them and just put a bit of money in it or do you have to have a regular income going in it?

I live at home with parents but am going to consider this now as nothing else is appealing to me.

So far for my iphone fund I have made £245 out of stuff I no longer wanted! So another £255 to go! But would be made up if I could it bring down to £200. As I would have paid out that amount for a new phone anyway, as I was looking at Blackberrys for that price! Makes me feel less guilty and less out of my savings!
