I overcharged on postage

and i wasnt duping it was a mistake in overcharging
A mistake is 50p or a £1 not over double cost price! You obviously set out to make some profit off your P&P. But it really doesn't matter what we say here uts your buyers that matter and a few low DSR scores (which are now more important than Feedback) and you could be in trouble. Ebay have now tightened DSRs up even more so I suggest you take a look if you wish to be selling long term
Have a look at increased minimum standards on this link

so you cant say you would have got £21
you quoted a price for postage,so say if it cost £10 you would have paid it and got your £11 or whatever winning bid?
so why do you feel you wanted £21 when you had it open to the luck of the bids?0 -
others went for about that, £20 is fair price. £15 is not
But it doesn't matter as said I willrefund. I just think its disingenuous of people who do that, but everyone has different opinions and to sell on ebay you have to keep everyone happy regardless0 -
well dont refund the overcharged postage if you wish but you deserve a big fat negative if you dont0
-
But why didnt you put a reserve on it instead of trying to overcharge on postage.
Its your fault you bought the goods
"I made a mistake purchasing "
Its your fault that you didn't check how much postage is.
There is no fault that I can see of the buyer in fact he/she remains polite
"I was dismayed to notice the postage for this item was £4 and not the£11 quoted. I assume this was an oversight and ask that the difference be refunded to my paypal account straight away please. Thank you for your help. paul"
Who wouldnt be dismayed being ripped off.
Decent thing is to refund, learn how ebay works and move on

Theres so much wrong with that post but It's just repeating all i will say I didn't try to overcharge on postage. I dont know how many more times i need to say this.0 -
The fact remains despite you saying "I didn't try to overcharge on postage" you still did overcharge nothing wrong with my post I mealy pointed to the facts
Most people seem to think your in wrong but of course you are right0 -
"put a reserve on it instead of trying to overcharge on postage." wrong not a fact
You dont know all the details, i'm talking in general. selling item at a price and someone buying it at that price is not ripping someone off. I bought a mp3 player from a business seller in hong kong years ago I think 99p and £18 postage. I just wanted a mp3 player for £19. Anything else is between him and ebay.
Thats all i'm gonna say as going in circles0 -

I just find it annoying. But there is always going to be people trying to take advantage of someone else
Well you're an easy target seeing as you are blatantly avoiding ebay fees by extorting your postal costs.
Why not start the bidding at a higher price? My daughters are my world0
