Its you who seems to be taken advantage and you got found out. The decent thing is refund the difference and hope he doesn't give you a negative

If it was odd quid more than fine but not £7 more than what it cost you, you are taking the Mick

Whats you ebay name so I can be sure not to use you ;)

It's not £7 read the post. I didn't check the postage so it was an error not taking the mick.

but the fact remains its not the buyers concern if i was trying to save ebay fees, it has no bearing on them

Conflicting post though at best £5.49 over charged at worse based on buyer its £7

You made the mistake of buying the goods in first place and then wanted to overcharge on postage to make more money and not pay ebay more fees

I was dismayed to notice the postage for this item was £4 and not the£11 quoted. I assume this was an oversight and ask that the difference be refunded to my paypal account straight away please. Thank you for your help. paul

I made a mistake purchasing it so already losing money on it. the postage was £4.5 and I quoted £9.99. I know the only thing to do to save me getting negative feedback is refund the full difference, but he paid the price I charged so it is really annoying

Sorry to offend you but this really annoys me.......if as you say "I(you) made a mistake purchasing it so already losing money on it" - then why did you not put a start price of what you actually wanted rather than try to make the money up duping someone into extra postage??
As you said he paid £21 for the item - not £25 which you have charged him!!!

Then don't do it. If you looked at everything "from the buyers point of view" you would end up giving your stuff away. In real life retailing, you always end up peeing someone off. This is the same. It's a system geared towards sneaks and scammers
