Sorry I haven't been around for a while I hit rock bottom again with my health and that had a knock on effect on every thing else.

I am working on the strengths and weaknesses homework (the first one not the two parter), but can't seem to get my head around it

  • I often think that my strength is my weakness at times. :( I will have a look at this area of my life, i have been thinking about it a lot- especially when i am asked the question in interviews. I often put a spin on it, but it does make me think that i should be more honest with myself.

Hugs for Dragon and take it easy missus, it is early days with your diagnosis. xx

dragon fingers crossed they get your dose right soon... is it stemming from the thyroid? (not trying to be nosey just dont want to be assuming either) ... it can take a while to get regulated with thyroxine it took my friend ages and another friend straight away so try not to stress too much

bob you hit the nail on the head our strengths can be our weaknesses and vice versa and thats why i think it is important to recognise that they can be both to work with them ... this way when you come to making those changes you should be able to recognise the weakness and make it a strength and recognise that a strength might in fact be holding you back ... weird stuff our brains

Hi elentan, yes I think it is my thyroid, I lost weight and my mood boosted the first week but I think that was because SOME thyroid hit my system but probably not enough - so back to the beginning again

Yup, we've been moved El, only noticed when you said as I come here straight from subscriptions.

I feel like poo but I'm sick of going to the doctors, I've lived there lately so it's distracting me. I still don't know what my strengths or weaknesses are either.

thanks for the next homework Elantan, i'm still working on old homework, i think i need a deadline and have to hand it in somewhere. When it comes to being honest with myself i think i could find loads of excuses.
I have been brave today, before i could wimp out i phoned for my free legal advice and i have a telephone interview with a solicitor tomorrow for half an hour to see where i can do with my upstairs neighbours issue. Wish me luck
