Most toilet roll contains a high percentage of recycled paper. They just don't advertise it. I can only presume they don't in case people think it is literally recycled toilet roll.

About 3/5 down the page "Where we are today"

Edit: What you really should look for is Totaly chlorine free.

Got pack of 18 Coloursoft rolls from Home Bargains today for £2.99. Quite large, rolls the same size as the 'posher' ones. I find some of the cheaper ones are made slightly smaller but these don't seem to be.

I love Charmin, it is soft and yet strong and absorbent.

We stock up Charmin whenever there is a sale on:rotfl:

Morrisons: Charmin, fresh linen, 4 rolls for a pound. Not sure when the sale ends though.

It is fragrant, but the fragrant comes from the paper tube and not the toilet paper.

I stocked up on the Charmin 4 roll packs at Morissons at £1 - bargain

    - I noticed in Asda yesterday a big pack (think 18 rolls) of their own 'soft' brand for £5 - they are supposed to be very good too

I get the Asda Shades 24 roll pack. We have a downstairs loo as well as the bathroom one - but are trying to educate the dgk's into 'No No.2's in the downstairs loo!' (The loo is by the front door and our house is 'open-plan' - not a really good idea from an architect!)
