I am so glad soul619 started this thread, hope it runs and runs! I love catching up on all your smiles, it really cheers me up reading all the posts! I cannot imagine life without a garden, there is always something new to see and marvel at. Isn't nature (with a bit of help from us) wonderful?

On my tour of inspection this morning I discovered that my yellow buddleia has got buds on it :j. Last year (its first year) it just sat in a pot doing nothing, this year I repotted it, gave it lots of food and a good talking to, and it's worked. Can't wait to see it in flower as I've never come across a yellow one before :)

I agree. It's a great thread for cheering you up isn't it?

I too could never imagine life without a garden now. I just love everything about our gardens, even the messy, overgrown, shabby areas that are desperate for some work!

Can't wait for mine to ripen! It's my first year of growing them and I read to let them establish the first year but I'm too impatient!

Sometimes not moving backwards is as much an achievement as moving forwards is on other times. (originally posted by kidcat)

It's only a bargain if you were going to buy it anyway!

HI jaxx, if I remember rightly it's buddleia x weyerana called Sun Gold (I lose the labels to everything!) bought it on ebay for £5 12 months ago. Mine's in a pot as I've only a tiny garden but is looking very healthy and about to flower any time now. hth :)
