Having taken a friend to buy a packet of lettuce seeds this morning, I 'discovered' that I arrived home with a blue/willow hanging half-basket for the beach hut door, a tray of white and one of baby blue trailing lobelia and a tall, eight-cup strawberry/herbs planter. Plus of course the necessary bags of compost....

Smiling and getting cross both at the same time.
Found mutt sunbathing and looking extremely comfortable using my pot of bizzie lizzies as a pillow for her head. Had to smile because she looking very cute and pretty with all those flowers setting off her natural beauty. ;) But my poor flowers that I've carefully tended from seed are now very squashed and sad looking.

Another one that needs to keep out of plant places and nurserys - tons of reduced underwatered plants in B+Q - approx 100 for £4

Really can't go back for any more lettuce at 10p and 20p packs

And that my sweet peas grown from seed (for the first time) and in the garden had grown on quite a bit - now that made me smile!
