I've two climbing roses outside the kitchen window and they now go right across it and I can see them from inside as well as out.
Best of it is, one was rescued from a house two doors down where the tenants were evicted and just to be nasty they put creosote on the plants in the garden. Landlord said he was going to clear it but to help ourselves if we thought we could rescue anything. So, me and my neighbour set to and we had a shrub (doing very well) and a climbing rose which this year is exceptional ! Bring a smile to my face every day not just today...........:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

My cherriettes of fire tomatoes have started to form toms! Woo Hoo! Also, have been nibbling out in the garden strawberries and rocket which actually go pretty well together.... may hear a summer salad calling..... Also a massive pretty pinky red raspberry ready to be eaten. Will save it for OH though as I ate the last big juicy one last week!Feb GC: £200 Spent: £190.790

The very first flower on my courgette plant, after a hefty boot of proper fertiliser.
(And about flaming time too!)
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
A few months ago I asked on here for advice on what to plant in a small area of my front garden. I got lots of lovely suggestions but finally plumped for a rosa rugosa. Well this morning I looked out of the living room window and saw that it had it's very first flower - it is sooo beautiful. I hope it's the first of many and I'm also looking forward to the gorgeous orange hips in the autumn. Yet another smiley day0

After a few rummages revealing just marbles in my spuds, I glanced over at the trug they are in to find a few large bulges in the side. I have potatoes forming at last. I would say at the minute they would fit nicely in the palm of my hand.
I have also found a few flowers on my chilis and my tom flowers seem to double in the amount of them by the day.
My Deltas Sarah is looking gorgeous now it is in flower.
Lastly the best feeling was coming in the house tonight and looking back at my evenings work. I have finally moved my pots from the growing area and organised them into displays.0 -

My cucs surprised me this morning with a couple of flowers. It doesn't feel as good as the rest of my plants as these weren't from seed, but still a nice surprise.0

I've just taken delivery of a housewarming gift: a magnolia grandiflora, a liquid amber and an indian bean tree and a headily scented mock orange! I'm so excited! I'm giving them a good drink right now.0
