hi guys
The drive is about the size of a rich tea biscuit(and not much thicker) and includes a 4Gb microdrive inside, yes it isn't solid state but I've personally had two Pen drives that have snapped off of my keyring and I've lost them!
The drive inside pops out nicely and fits inside my Sony Camera nicely but have to update the firmware.
Sorry Martin if this is a bit of a diversion but I'm very pleased with this for the money and would recommend anyone else to give it a go.
Oh and it comes with a USB extension lead so that if your ports are in a cramped space it's easier to connect.

Where do you put this gadget into your computer? Am I right that this is a device which makes copying files from one computer to another quick and easy?
Which one is best?0 -
Well if you have a microdrive port it will fit in there but it comes in a case which has a USB dongle on the end so you use it just like a pen drive, simple!Tips are good, tips are good, you know that tips are good!0

Lots of good prices on various other products. Company based in Guernsey any item oredered thatis les than £18 in value does not have VAT. Neat thing about shopping here is that if you order several items you onky pay one lot of P&P but they split the order up into consignments of less than £18 in value so as to save you the VAT. Have to pay P&P but it's one charge whatever size of order.
Have used them several times.0 -

I take it you own/work for this outfit which is why it is being so heavily advertised on this thread by numerous new posters.0 -

Do you think I can return it? Whats the CS like?
I have bought quite a lot of memory cards and batteries etc. for self & family, and found although being impersonal, the service has always been good, and have had goods returned when faulty without a problem. I suppose for their prices, they can't afford to write a not of apology or anything else, but I highly recommend them.
Last week I ordered a few things that I wanted quickly before my father-in-law returned to France, and although their standard post is stated as being about a week, I received part of my order in 2 days, and the rest within 4. Not bad since they come from Guernsey.
Their power battery charger (30 mins.) is one of the best buys ever, with their 2600Mah batteries (AA) at £3.95. so if you consume a lot of batteries with digi. cameras etc, this is a must.stixman70 -
Dad wants one of these except he wants it to hold 4 or 5 Gb, which should I get for him? The reason he wants one so big is because he is scared of losing all his work on his computer and its total hard drive is 4.76 Gb if I remember correctly.
It is an old computer and even though he got a brand spanking new one he refuses to use it. Ooh well it is hard to teach an old dog new tricks! :rolleyes:0 -
Unbelievable how cheap these are now. I used to back up all my photos on cd's. Now I use 2 of these USB pens and have one in a safe at home and one at work just incase anything happens0

Cheap alternatives are available from 7 day shop.com
Their postage is £5 (I think- you need to check this) To reduce this we combine orders at work and share the postage out between us. There's loads of good deals on the site and all the products I've had have been good quality and no problems.
