So i'm not on a crusade but if I buy from sellers with high P&P my DSR scores will reflect this, because that is what they are for to reflect my experience of the transaction
And before you say whats it got to do with me or somesuch. Sellers charging ridiculous postage to avoid fees are the reason the P&P price caps were brought in (and the famous free P&P) so these sellers have affected other sellers being able to charge actaul postage costs in some categories. So sellers overcharging postage effect everyone in the long term and the way we can all structure our listings and your burying your head in the sand if you don't think it effects you as a seller.
I tend to agree with this - although in my case I gave them the choice about DSR`sAs Martin says - please be nice - there is no such thing as a stupid question !0 -

If ebay traders cant offer me the service I want I got to a seller that can.
Recorded is just normal mail with a signature at the end (which they don't get most of the time) so there is no guarantee there. The seller is responsible to get the item to you. If it doesn't arrive you can claim via paypal and you will be refunded. So paying more for postage doesn't give you any more protection
By paying extra for these services your paying more money than you need to. Thats just silly

glad you caught my spelling mistake there ! - perhaps you could be the official board person bad spelling notifier and go thru all the other posts and threads , looking for speling mist shapes ( testing you here ! ) and hunt those little suckers down0 -
Sellers can't add fees to their postage prices so a seller that admitted they were doing that would be on sticky ground. It is neither post or packing costs.
I've clarified this with eBay in the past - they said (in writing) that it was OK to add the PayPal fees for postage and packing (only - not the item) to the postage costs. They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -

The word "touch!" is also often used in popular culture and general conversation — for example, in an argument or debate — to commend someone on a clever response to an argument.[3]As Martin says - please be nice - there is no such thing as a stupid question !0
