have to admit i dont feel as if i am having a hard time ... just the usual rubbish lol ...

right after having the discussion with hubby and finding out exactly how short a month we are ... the talks have stalled ... i did hear a mention of ebay ... but i gave a stern look to that one

so an action plan is needed ... i am night shift so hopefully some divine inspiration will come to me in the early hours of the morning

i wrote to uni the other day about leaving ... this was one of my replies ... found it a nice one ...let me know what you think

I have to say I am not surprised…while I have found you to be an enthusiastic and highly able student who is always critically questioning and insightful…you have also struggled with your own rationale for being here…and with those more formal elements of the course that seem to fly in the face of a more critical pedagogy…

I believe you have much to offer the people and communities that you work alongside and I am sure that you will continue to find this line of work rewarding. I remember in first year when you doubted if you would be back…I was pleased that you did…because I believed that, in addition to helping you to achieve your own vision for changing the world, the course would also change your view of the world and enable you to progress in your knowledge, understanding and practice…

As you have reached the end of year 2, and in light of my not knowing the details behind your decision to withdraw, I can only assume that you have considered this long and hard, have sought counsel from friends and colleagues, have considered the range of options available (such as taking a year out) and in light of this, that you have reached the decision that is right for you at this time.

I respect your decision and hope to catch up some time in the future to hear how you are doing.

    Cheers, Be Happy,

Very insightful and well thought through answer El. I agree for what its worth and this person seems to understand you. I am also getting the message that they don't want to lose you.:D Which of course i am not surprised about.

    Hi

Hope the coughing and spluttering is easing off now. It sounds like you caught a really nasty bug.

Swapping hotels/cities today, but hoping to get some exercise walking/exploring the current town before moving this afternoon. Unfortunately having awful blister problems, as soon as I get one lot healed I get another mass of them. I'm becoming an expert at how to use plasters etc to cover the damage and minimise it worsening :o

It was a really nice letter from the tutor.

    Hope your rebudgeting goes well.
