Friend bought a tent this year and wanted to try it out ... Don't get me wrong the tent is stunning it was like pimp my camping experience for hubby and I ( were used to a tent a sleeping bag air bed ... That's it for wild camping lol) but it took the three of us to put the thing up ... Don't know how she will manage next year all by herself ... But what i do know is we any be going lol0

Z we booked a travelodge in advance ( a couple of weeks ... It took us till then to deff know we were going with friend having an op) but it came to £52 for the night ...
I was think more of a couple of months in advance and doing the £20 shuffle...This holidaywas really a one off as it was to help out friend more than it was for us tongi away so we kindve had to put up with alot Of things that normally we would say no to ... Hubby and I would never go to Drayton manor for eg and would never pay tht for camping ( we go wild camping where it's all free)
Must admit, never done that.I think I could sit and get angry about it all ( one of the reasons I think I have taken till now to add it all up tbh) but at the end of the day what's done is done I need to make sure I've learned my lessons and never pit myself in the same predicament again
Think of it as a learning experience. Perhaps a little look at what you were eating which would probably help.
I must admit that when I go anywhere, I look up the addresses of supermarkets before I go. Especially Lidl and Aldi...Last minute has got me many a bargain before ... I look forward to them doing so again
