El just keep doing it - I'll support you in your bid to be healthier and in charge ( is that it?) as that is what I am trying to do. You go!

TAxi is OCado good? We don't have a Waitrose, but their quality is supposed to be great, but we can get Ocado.

hey patchwork we could do it together ...makes the journey less arduous ...

taxi will check them out i wonder if they are in Scotland ...

have been thinking about this problem quite a bit today whilst doing freebie work sessions ( i need to stop with the freebies) and i deff think i will up the production within my garden ... i am producing some tasty delicous stuff ... yes i will still need to buy stuff that is of no doubt ... but i will need to buy on hell of alot less if i grow more ... and get friends to grow some different things from me that we could swap also

i have been checking out a few sites re organic stuff ... it is a total different way of thinking ... bye bye goes the i'm gonna nip to the shops for some potatoes idea ... you have to plan and organise it much better ... which i think will help with the waste situation ... often just now i am chucking things out cause they have went off etc ... but if i am going organic and i am paying more for the food and i am having to go kinda outa my way to get it ... i'm hoping that i wont waste as much ... i'm hoping it will make me more organised and relaxed also ...

i think this will be fun

kc the co are expensive here as well ... the thing is though locally my other choice is Haldanes and that just aint gonna happen ... boy i think this thread is making me realise i am such a fussy shopper ... dont like Asda cause of what they do with their workers ... dont like Haldanes cause of their stupid stupid advertising campaign ... thats why i go past 5 stores (three of which are big ones) to go to Morrisons ... now if anyone knows bad things about morrisons ... i would appreciate it if they didnt tell me otherwise i will run out of shops to get my big shopping from lol

It was the condescending down right lying advertising campaign kc .... Then I found out from other people they are extortionate ... Which ofcourse made me feel totally exonerated ( sp) and a bit pleased with myself if I do say so lol lol lol

Ah! Thats different then! I tend to love/hate adverts in themselves, and ignore them when it comes to buying decisions.... I like that expensive Hovis ad, for instance, where the little boy runs through a hundred years of local history, but I wouldn't dream of purchasing or not purchasing according to that... and the Guinness white horses ad, do you remember that? Lovely! But I don't drink the stuff :)
