Okay, thats good to hear - but you know, really, I'd advise keeping it simple:
    - adding one piece of fruit, or one veg at first - with me, for instance, the only fruit I buy regularly that I don't let go to waste are bananas and dried fuit (I put the latter on my porridge). Or eat a carrot or a quarter cucumber while you're making tea.
    - drinking more water - an extra half litre a day?
    - walking more, my round the block walk takes about 20 minutes.
    - cutting out one portion of something you know is bad for you, substituting with a healthy alternative.

If you make a complete shift in your diet one day, your body can find it very difficult to cope, and its harder to maintain. If you have a few days doing something like the above, then move to whatever you think is the next level.

Sorry if I'm teaching you to suck eggs (why did people used to suck eggs, by the way, does anybody know?), its just, you don't need huge amounts of research on the basics, its once you're beyond the basics that that research will kick in. But I really admire you for doing it - whats your instinct about what you're learning?

Kc it will need to be more than that for me honey ... I already drink 2 litres atleast per day of water I have atleat 4-5 pieces of fruit atleast 3-4 pieces of veg per day I walk upto 10 miles three times a week ... This time I need to be more savvy about what I am doing .... It's more about what I shouldn't eat than what I should I think

My instinct on what I am learning ... You know this bit is quite interesting ... I am Reading what I have read so far and very little of it is new to me ... I know it already ... But at the same time it's like all the bits I know suddenly fitting together and making sense I am gathering a more fuller understanding to alot of my problems that I have had for years ( had hormone issues for as Long as I can remember) the changes that I need to make are also smaller than I thought ... Get rid of all the plastic tubs for glass for instance ... Eat organic ... Still getting there slolwy but getting there

Hey taxi it's called master your matabolism by jillian michaels ... It talks a bit about oestrogen which is the hormone that surrounds the female issues in life ... It isn't a medical book by any means but it does break things down so that non medical people can understand it ( like me ) I also found eat to live a very good book the guy basically says the same but in medical terms ... He goes a little more medical and explains some things that Jillian misses I think I will re read his book again as he kinda lost me a bit first time now that I understand it more I will be able to make more sense of what he says ( Joel furnham the writer of eat to live )
