Well I am as ready as I will ever be .... I am still way way way over my insurance amount .... Went to look for what I thought was my policy ... It was fromesure so I filed it to be dealt with later ( I deal with things on the 14th of every month) it was a renewel notice covering me for 50k so I didn't recieve my insurance ( nothing unusual at my address) and I wouldve thought I was covered for the 50k so deff don't understand why only 19k0

El, I remember the days when you had to specify how much cover you wanted, now most insurance companies tend to offer a set amount, usually 50k......no wonder you thought that was the figure you were covered for.
*must dig out my policy and check incredibly tiny print*
Just a thought, is your cover new for old?Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -

On the sugar front .... These cravings arnt as strong ... But every now and then they just hit me something rotten and I suddenly start looking for chocolate ....but I am aware now that it's the sugar and it seems to be working by thinking ... Ahh so u want a treat ( this is the conversation I have in my head ) well is diabetes a treat ? Is being at a higher risk for a corony a treat ? Then I think ohhh I'll just have an apple ... So I eat an apple or something ... So it's still sweet but it is naturally sweet rather than processed0

thanks lemon ...
ok the situation is as this ... i am over insured for household goods ... but under insured for high risk items to the tune of 45% (best guess)... guess what got stolen .... yep the high risk items ... i explained to the person that came out the situation with the letter he is going to write a report about it and see if anything can be done ...
the worst case scenario would be that i am not insured and nothing will be replaced ... the best is they pay for everything ... the likely hood of them paying for everything is smaller that a snowballs chance in hell ... i hope they can understand that there has been a bit of a discrepancy and that they will even agree to pay maybe 75% ... they will not pay for my sons laptop under any circumstances so i will have to pay £1k for that and if they pay out the the 55%(best guess) on the other goods i will be roughly £6k out ... so all in all it will have cost me approx roughly £8k to be burgled ....
but i will not be a victim i will not less this take me to a place i dont want to go ... we will get through this and we will recover0 -

sorry to hear that the insurance policy stuff is not good, it's made me wonder about my own policy i shall certainly investigate the terms when it's up for renewal.
