reading that,it seems the OP was well aware of the power button issue
also the op feels the need to mention a couple of scratches on the back, but not the honking great big engraving on it....0 -
Always interesting to get both sides of a story!0

I guess "Happy 22nd Birthday Matt Love Bianca" as previously posted was too subtle for you then?:rotfl:
I thought that was a random guess by KeithP. I don't think the OP has said what was engraved unless I misread somewhere (I've not registered on AV Forums so cannot see the links).
EDIT:
I just registered to have a look. :T
It does sound like the OP tried to offload a broken item in the hope of scamming some poor chap out of a few quid.Hi i have a Jailbroken Ipod Touch 32GB 2nd Gen in great condition near mint condition with a few small scratches on the back nothing on the front and has a glass protector on, only selling as it doesnt get used that much and im saving for a IPad comes with box and cables
With a broken power button and the engraving, I am simply bewildered why the victim has settled for anything less than a full refund.0 -

Toffe - Can I have you on my side should I ever have any trouble? I like your spirit!0

the OP sent an engraved ipod without telling the buyer
how would you feel?
I would ask them to return it, and I would then give them a full refund when I had the item back.
What I wouldn't do is issue a refund before it was sent back, or a ludicrous amount of money being demanded for a partial refund! Are you saying you would????Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

you feel £30 is too much for a broken power button and undisclosed engraved(damaged) case?0 -

I do, you either want it or you don't.
If you don't want it thats fine but you return it before you get a refund.
This buyer has only made two [STRIKE]requests[/STRIKE] demands and they were;
1- give me all my money back and i'll keep the item too...
OR
2- ok then just give me £30 back and let me keep the item.
I'd say no, return for full refund or keep at price paid......."A wise man once told me don't argue with fools because people from a distance can't tell who is who"........0
