Just popping it to say hello! Been a lurking a long time but now starting to post again - shameful I know :o

Les Mis is amazing, it's very moving. Also if you are up for fantastic music/singing and a very easy story line then We Will Rock You is fun to go and see, we saw it earlier this year in Southampton. An enjoyable light hearted evening.

Hope you are feeling better soon, will catch up reading properly later! xx

Still feeling a bit grotty, and incredibly bunged up, but not as bad as yesterday, so will hopefully be all better by the weekend, when I expect DH will get it and be dying ;)

paid all the CCs this morning, just waiting for the first statement on the new card to see what the minimum payment will be before making final payments.

annoyingly my pay was falsely high last month, as it was the first month after bonus so it was adjusting itself due to being paid our bonuses in the first month of the PAYE year. this means that our snowball amount will be lower, as this month i have £100 less in my pay!! :o

w00t! got an email from Quidco saying they paid £56 cashback to my account yesterday :j about time, £55 of that was from our new breakdown cover, which I think we took out in January! :rotfl: will have to decide whether to pay it to a debt, or use it for our camping trip at the end of July.....

Great news on the Quidco payment - it's frustratingly slow isn't it!

    Morning diary :)

lovely weekend, sister no4 and her 2 girls were at home with the parents, as her hubby is off on a school trip, so I went home for the afternoon to deliver niece no1s fave toy (now complete with stripey socks to stop his legs from falling off! :rotfl:) spent the afternoon lounging in the garden and playing with nieces. Niece no2 is gorgeous at the moment, she's 18 months and into everything. she was trying to copy niece no1 hopping down the path, but she was just toddling along lifting one leg up high every few steps :rotfl: so so cute

had friends over for tea and boardgames on saturday night, and then yesterday I defrosted the freezer, and did a big stock up shop to refill it. DH and I went to MK to see Dylan Moran in the evening, which was my birthday pressie to him. very funny, and we went for a lovely chinese beforehand, lush :D

back to work today, and got lots of different studies coming up so need to get my multitaksing head on

going for my haircut tonight, about time as my fringe is about an inch below my eyebrows!

Love my hair when it's just been cut :D Got the hairdresser to cut it a bit shorter this time so it doesn't grow out so fast (hopefully!). My hairdresser has been promoted, which is obv good for her, but the price has gone from £23 to £35  I may have to ask to move to one of the juniors, although I really like the way she does my hair :o

not much else to report, just waiting for the statement on new CC to see when minimum payment is due, so holding some extra cash in our joint account. Once i know what I have to pay to virgin, I'll transfer all the extra to the current snowball priority.

off to pilates at the work gym tonight to test it out - it's only £5, as opposed to £7.50 at my class in bedford so may have to switch. Think I'll also go for a swim on the way home, I need to get back on the exercise bandwagon after my week's holiday and then being ill. :o

    afternoon diary :)

failed to go to pilates OR swimming last night :o pilates class was cancelled due to low numbers, and then I just drove past the swimming pool on autopilot, even though I'd stayed late at work so I could go straight there :rotfl: really couldn't face going back across the 1 way system once I got home and remembered I was meant to be swimming. :o

pilates tonight though, at my regular class, which I will definitely go to. I haven't done any for 2 weeks and I can feel my back starting to twinge at me :(

got to work this morning and realised I'd left my laptop at home :o an hour's round trip to go and get it, and then I had to go straight into our group quarterly meeting, which was sooooooo boring :( At least the extra time I worked yesterday evening means I won't need to stay too late tonight to make up for it

moneywise nowt to report, just waiting for statements to be generated to do next month's budget. Hoping that the empty card we have will offer a BT deal once the statement is generated.

DH is off for a day out with all my BILs and uncle on Saturday, trying to decide whether to have a lazy day at home, or to head home with him in the morning and spend the day there (where my nieces will be :blushing:), and go to the knitting shop to stock up on wool, as I have lots of small person birthdays coming up in the autumn, and sister no2's baby is due in January, so need to make her some things. Will probably be an expensive trip, wondering if I should put it off until next month  we don't have a decent wool shop here, so I need to get everything in one go.

terrible day yesterday, my grandma collapsed, and will probably die very soon, as she's too frail to have an operation to fix the problem :(:( she's resting peacefully in the end of life care ward, and hopefully isn't in any pain.

got the news just after lunch, and really couldn't focus for the rest of the day. got stuck in terrible traffic on the way home, dragged myself to pilates, and then had a huge spasm in my back. it's still really sore now, just what i really don't need at the moment  got home fit for nothing, asked DH to cook dinner, and he just ordered a takeaway, as he "couldn't think of anything to make". very peeved with him, as I've been trying really hard to stick to my diet plan. too exhausted/upset to argue last night, so ate it anyway :o

    miserable :(
