We've always had a formal pdp process with target setting etc, but these 3 year plans are new. And quite tediousLittle monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160

Morning Diary
Not much to report today, lots of labwork to get on with, so will be nice and busy. The day always goes quickly when you're in the lab. Going to try and get out for a run at lunch as well, time permitting.
Cheque still not cleared. Stupid Barclays, I posted it on Wednesday, so they should have had it last Thursday, they take soooo long to clear cheques these days, I'm sure it used to only take 3 working days. I looked at their website, and apparently they're still posting cheques back to the issuing branch for clearing. I can't believe the system is so archaic!Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Feeling a bit blah this evening, left work late, car was like an oven, then stuck in stupid traffic on the m1. Didn't get home til almost 7, by which time I was hot, sticky and cross. Cooled down now, but still feeling a bit humphy!
We live over the road from a pub, and the cigarette smoke from the smokers keeps drifting in our windows. It's also really noisy, which is a pain when we have to leave the window open to stay cool!
All in all, I can't wait til we move
Hoping for a better frame of mind tomorrowLittle monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Feeling much better this morning, even though I didn't sleep that well. DH is on hols today, using up last years allowance, and he came to bed at 130 and woke me up. Very annoying!
Cheque has finally cleared, so have made payment to clear the RBS card, and transferred the remainder to barclaycard. Just need to wait for the new statement to check for extra interest and then we can BT the MBNA card (currently on 29.9%!!!!). Think I'm going to have to make a new snowball though, I tried to amend the details of the RBS card to reflect the 0% offer, and it won't let me. I was hoping to have one that showed our entire payment process, so we could see how far we've come from when we seriously started tackling the CCs. That's not a major worry though
Off to the lab nowLittle monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Sounds like you are doing really well. well done for making the best choices on your credit card and using them to avoid too much interest.
Have a great day hun xOrange Fairy

Evening diary
Nothing mse to report today, too busy having a relaxed day. OH made me a lovely dinner and is currently mixing us some lush cocktails before we snuggle up to watch a film. BlissLittle monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Morning Diary,
Can't quite believe it's Monday again, where does the weekend go?! Feeling very chilled out today, after a lovely weekend of doing not much at all. Finished up a couple of knitting projects and watched a lot of stuff we had recorded on the Sky+, didn't manage to achieve much else though, especially on the housework front.
Will have to make more effort to do some cleaning in the evenings this week, as we've got a busy weekend coming up. It's OH's birthday on Thursday, and we're out for dinner with his Mum. Then off to the local beer festival for birthday drinks on Friday (with people potentially staying at ours, waaaay too messy at the moment!) and to a friend's in Hampshire on Saturday for a BBQ. So I'll be exhausted come Sunday evening!
I'm eagerly awaiting the RBS credit card bill on Wednesday so we can balance transfer the MBNA card, the plan is simple on paper, but it seems to take forever when you're waiting to do something! I'm half tempted to ring MBNA and tell them to stick it, as they've been a right pain, they didn't issue me a new card when mine expired in April, and when I rang to enquire, I was told that it was due to poor management of my account, and they wouldn't issue me a new one until I'd cleared the balance. Pre-LBM I'd agree with them, but by that point we'd started the CC snowball, and cleared almost £1000 in 2 months (thank god for bonus month!), so I think I'd already shown improved account management! Anyway, will have to wait and see if they'll issue me a new card, and if there's any kind of BT offer to be had so we can move Barclaycard balance (28% APR from next week ), but since my standard APR on the MBNA is 29% if they won't reduce that, or offer me a LOB deal, I'll be closing the card!

Just back from my lunchtime run, 3.4 miles today according to my gps. Feels good to have gone as I managed to wimp out of going twice last week due to the heat! Ran with a colleague, and it's always more fun with company. Not that we managed much chatting, too out of breath!
I think we're going to run the whole course of the 5 at beginner's group on wednesday, our last proper training session before the race a week on Friday  I still haven't run the whole course, so it will be good to do before the day.
Eating my lunch now and wondering if it's permisible to make a visit to my friend's charity cake stall....Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
ho hum, back to work again. I really dislike Tuesdays and Wednesdays, I always feel that after getting Monday out of the way, the week should be nearly done, but it isn't! If only we could skip from Monday to Thursday!
It's cold and rainy here again, I had to get up in the night to shut the windows as it was raining onto the walls inside (gable windows!). Of course with the windows shut, it was waaaaay too hot in our flat, so woke up feeling all sticky and hot. Bleugh!
Off to a "performance culture toolkit briefing" in a bit, one of the joys for working for a huge multinational company, there's always some new initiative or scheme.Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
I dislike Wednesdays!! Tuesdays is my day off and DD2 is in preschool so get the morning to myself!!
Well done on the running. My OH is really into his running at the moment!Orange Fairy
