Afternoon lovely! I'm ok thanks apart from expensive trip to dentist £200!!!!! Back again in Feb
Wedding plans coming along nicely we're getting married 28/04/12!!!!!!!! :j:j:j:j Have started a new diary today (again!) as feel a new chapter is evolving and wanted to start from scratch, don't ask me for link as I have no idea how to post it. Sitting down and working out the pennies this weekend to see where I am....seems weddings are a license to print money!?! xx0 -
Morning diary
Had a really long sleep, feeling a bit better than I have all week. Hoping for a relaxing lazy day, just need to do a little bit of housework before friends come over for takeaway curry and boardgames tonight. I still find it hard to believe how cheap curry is in our new town, and if you order food for 4 they put in so much free food you can feed 6! Very mse!Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -

Afternoon diary
Had a lovely evening last night, yummy curry, and first play of one of the new games I got for Christmas, which I won
Long lie in this morning, and just back from swimming. Did 30 mins non-stop but my legs feel like jelly now. Felt really good to do some exercise. Weighed in this morning, not good newshave put on a stone since we moved and my back started to get bad
. Need to pull my finger out and stop eating junk to make myself feel better (which it doesn't!)

Morning Diary
Back felt much better all day yesterday, but the car journey to work has set it off againStill nowhere near as bad as it was all last week though.
In an attempt to get organised I went to Tesco yesterday afternoon, and made sure I have enough things to make lunches this week. Last week I went to the work sandwich shop every day, just no energy to make breakfast/lunches in the morning. Forced myself to make both this morning, even though I was running late (DH takes an AGE in the bathroom in the mornings, no idea how it can take 25 minutes to have a shave, brush teeth and get in the shower!).
Will write a list of dinners at lunchtime, so I can get organised when I get home tonight - been far too many evenings recently when I've had no inspiration and felt too tired to do anything when I got home from work so have ended up eating random junk and not proper dinners.
Anyway, better get off to the lab and do some work, not going to meet my targets for this year if I don't get on with something, and I was spectacularly unproductive last week.Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Swimming may actually help with your back as it helps strengthen the muscles without straining them.
Hope it does help! xDebt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -
Afternoon Diary
Having a good work day today, managed to solve a problem I've been working on since november! HOpefully can now write my study up and tick off one of this year's targets as achieved
Back not great yesterday, but still not as bad as last week. Swimming again tonight, and planning to go on Thursday as well. At this rate it'll be cheaper to join the gym, which would mean free access to classes as well (for when my back's better obv! :rotfl:), but am going to give it a few months and see how I get on. There's a 3 month minimum contract, so want to be sure I'll really use it before I commit!Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Well done on the swimming. A 3 month contract isn't too bad, most are 12 usually. Would joining the gym give you access to swimming as well?LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

yes, £38.50 a month for unlimited gym, classes and swimming. It's the local council facility, so not fancy, but it's got everything I'd need. Still going to hold off to make sure I'll use it enough, I need to swim 10 times a month to make it worthwhile. :money:Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160
