    Morning Diary :)
Not much to report from the weekend, pretty quiet overall. Had a couple of friends over for an early Burns supper on Saturday, tasty haggis! Went to the shops on Sunday, but they didn't have my size in the swimsuit I want, so will have to order online and guess at sizing.
Off work today, my back is really sore again. Hopefully will hear from consultant's secretary this week.
DH off to Spain on business until weds night, so will be quiet without him, looking forward to watching girly tv and eating loads of veggies though. :D DH had to change a flat tyre on my ka this morning before setting off, so he wasn't best pleased! Will have to sort out a replacement when he gets back. Darn cars, they're just a constant expense! :(

Back to work today, although I regretted it in the car this morning, cars and my desk chair at work are the most uncomfortable place. Spent all of yesterday with a hot water bottle on my back, watching a Mad Men DVD marathon, while wandering around the sitting room to avoid stiffening up too much. Also caught up on all of this series of One Born Every Minute, which DH refuses to watch :rotfl:

Going to the college salon for a haircut tonight, have decided to be a bit braver than last time, and go for a proper graduated bob. Will probably change my mind when I get in the chair though!:rotfl:

Ended up cancelling my haircut yesterday, I really couldn't face 2 hours of sitting still in a chair after a whole day at work. My back is so bad at the moment, I really hope I get an appointment to see the consultant soon.
DH still away, so spent the evening curled up on the sofa watching more Mad Men. I'm going to run out at this rate, as we only have s1-3 on DVD, but BBC are about to start repeating s4 next week, so will record them for later viewing! I'm sadly excited about the new sky channel launching next week, Sky Atlantic, which will have loads of new HBO shows. I do love good American drama, we just don't have the same sorts of programmes over here. If we only had Freeview, I'd hardly watch any tv, almost everything we watch is on Sky one, syfy and FX! That might not be a bad thing though ;)
Ordered my swimsuit online, so hopefully will arrive soon. Went through Quidco for 10% cashback, so that should be about £4. Doing quite well on there at the moment, there's about £80 tracked, so look forward to getting that at some point! there's also £12 to be paid in the next payment run, which I will use for swimming sessions when my costume arrives. It's going to be a tight month, so that will really help.

Hi Woo. I've had a couple of payments from Quidco, but it took about 7 months for my home insurance cashback to be paid last year! took it out end December, and received cashback in July! Some companies are better than others about paying the money to them. If Quidco have already received it though, you should get it in the next payment run (around 1st of the month) if your payment details are correct.

You must be getting really fed up with your back now hun. I really hope that you get an appointment soon :(

A few of my friends are getting married in the next year or so and I am going to have the dreaded hen night expense. I dont mean it horrible but by the time you do that and then go to the wedding it soon starts adding up! I always said that if I ever get married then my hen would be in stages so people can come to whatever bits they can fancy/afford!

Very happily married on 10th April 2013 :D

    Afternoon Diary :)
Well I got my appointment with the consultant through the post yesterday, 8th February. I've really been struggling this week, house is a tip, eating junk etc. I'm just so fed up of my first thought in the morning being "ow!" and I'm really struggling to get through the day at work. I had a 2 hour meeting yesterday, and I didn't pay any attention to the second half because I was so uncomfortable. Similar meeting this afternoon, so taking some ibuprofen now to hopefully dull the pain.
Other news, got my work laptop yesterday. So I can now WAH when I want, although there's a limit to what I can do without access to some of our specialist software etc, but I can do the basics from home.
DH found out he got a bonus in his pay on Tuesday, only about £300 after tax, but it was only for 6 months, as their financial year has moved to starting in January. Any bonus is nice though:T
Found out at the long meeting yesterday that my bonus is likely to be 7.5% x merit multiplier x business results multiplier. Donlt know what the multipliers are yet, but was graded above average, so merit should be >1. No idea on the business one yet, we're judged on the global results, and it's been a good year from what I can gather. Last year I got about 11%, but pro-rated as I'd only been there 11 months as a permanent employee. Nothing confirmed yet, but fingers crossed for a similar amount ;)

Finally Friday! :j I've been a bit confused all week, my sister moved house yesterday, but I texted her on wednesday to say I hoped it had gone well! Obviously wishful thinking that it was already Thursday ;)

My swimming costume has been dispatched so hoping it will arrive today or tomorrow, and then I can start going swimming. I feel like my weight is ballooning, and I still can't be bothered to do anything about it :( someone give me a kick up the as$ please!

Back awful this morning, no change there then. :(
