Well done on your losses everyone. I have had a shocking month weight wise, I havent gained but have been lucky to maintain the last two weeks and I have a suspicion that it will catch up with me at the next weigh in! Onwards and downwards though and I will be back for July with renewed vigour! xx

i turn my mind to my return to the uk on the 8th july and how i will cope with the change of diet back there--good reasonable wine is my real achilles -its something that doesnt exist where i am now and i can see the first sip leading me into very bad ways--with the familiar comment'its holiday time and time to forget dieting' but i will be left to pick up the pieces when i get back to reality with the weight that takes twice as long to lose than put on--i do wish i had real will power and the discipline to say NO!--going to sound bad (and mad) but i wish they would make alcohol more expensive! i dont drink good wine here because it costs about 12 pounds minimum a bottle!-in the uk its about 4 quid

Gawd, you are all doing so well. I dont seem to have lost a single pound this month despite keeping to my calories and in fact doing more exercise than normal :( Still, 2 more days to go.

İ am shocked because for the past 2 weeks i thought i had been stuck on 71kgs but on sunday i got on the scales at the gym(where i can actually see the scales properly) and i am down to my goal weight of 70kgs which equates to 11stone precisely or 154lbs for our american friends--i havent received my telegram from the queen yet but it feels like a red letter day in my quest--now to tone up and change my diet goals!

Ermmm... apparently I can't count... :o :rotfl: I have actually lost 11.75lbs this month! :p :j I must not have updated one week!

Hethmar... keep going and maybe check you are eating enough. You may need to up your calories a wee bit to loose if you are exercising more than normal. Your body can only cope with so much of a deficit before it starts hanging on to whatever food you give it...

You know what taka, I think the culprit is BREAD. Id cut it out completely but this last month Ive been having the regular sandwiches and then crusty rolls (its a summer thing isnt it) and if OH left half a slice of toast. I suddenly thought about what had changed to cause this plateau and it struck me that could be it. I didnt have any bread at all yesterday and guess what, Im a pound down today. I shall cut it out completely again and see how things go.
