found a cat & her 1 day old kittens

she is a grey tabby! still unsure of a name tho!

she is huge compare to nico even tho nico is a full week older! i started to worry that i hadnt been feeding her enough but the new ones's head & paws are near twice the size of nico's!

anyway they aren't bonding very well so far! a few hisses from each party but other than that very little contact - oh an apart from the ocassional paw swipe at the face from each kitty lol!!

what should i do? atm the tabby is downstairs & nico is on my knee. i want them to stay 2gether rather than 1 with me & one on its own! can i put them in a room & close the door? i dont want them to fight or hurt each other!!

I wouldnt close them in together personally and have never done that with any of mine but you may find someone will come along and say they did that with no problems.
I would make them stay in the same room together with you there though, being kittens i tend to find they dont take half as long to 'make friends' rather than if they were older cats.
One of the reasons is because they both smell different at the minute.
Get them both on your lap if you dare , well either side of your lap and stroke them together, im sure they will be bezzy mates in no time, good luck

Thanks! Over the past few hours they have got a bit closer but not quite friends lol!saying that the new one is sleeping on my lap whilst nico is in usual spot just under my neck lol!! They do look so cute when they think about checkin the other one out even even a wee swipe to see what the others reaction will be!!
