Those 99 flake cupcakes I have seen pictures of them done inside the Askeys Cup Cornets what you buy for ice cream....I've bought them in to attempt to do them for the grandchildren but have n't got round to it yet. I thought they would be a good idea when they have parties. I believe you can either bake the mixture in the cornets in muffin tins or bake the cupcakes first then peel off the case and put them inside the cornets.

People were taking photos of it and everything!! :D

money saving diva, no i carve the shapes myself....sometimes in pre-shaped tins they can come out a little stodgy and firmer than usual, so i like to carve them :)

its finished now, just need to pop out for some fluff as they requested a fluffy trim :)

Also got an iggle piggle one to finish today! its been a hectic week! LOL

    tinkerbell...lovely! x

Lots more cakes to admire on here this week. I am working on a pink palace and a 2 tier colourful cake. Cake pops done for a fete tomorrow, then on Saturday evening/Sunday i have a cupcake wedding tower(for a playgroup mock wedding), a gift package cake(with a real watch inside it!) and a butterfly cake with 40 cupcakes. Im hoping Sunday will gain some extra hours on to it!

Some lovely cakes being done its making me hungry will post my latest pics when I can find my usb.

Knithappens I also had the same question nad decided to get disposable ones I got the ones from lakeland they are great and I have even washed them out.

Moosetastic The cupcakes look lovely well done I undersand how you feel thinking about charges it is very hard cos you dont want to loose money but dont want people to think they are being ripped onff. I would easily pay £20 for home made cup cakes, whe you think you pay roughly over £4.00 for supermarket mass produced ones and these dont taste as good as ours:rotfl:

I am going to have a go at some cakepops this weekend as I am doing a big fair in a few weeks time and want to make some to sell. If I made a 20cm round cake how much buttercream should I add??
