Things I never knew #1458349850:
Drinking 17 pints of water over a weekend will increase your weight by 5lbs :eek::eek:
(I'm fighting off an attack of cystitis and seem to be winning - hope the water weight drains away again by Friday for my weigh-in day!!)0 -
morning all,
unfortunately my wii batteries have run out, so i cant weigh myselfnot looking forward to it as been to two boozy BBQ's but will check in when i get round to buying some batteries!
well done everyone so far.0 -
weigh in this am and have lost 4lb. delighted as dd had her birthday at the weekend and wanted home made profiteroles which i happily obliged. i still managed to have some left with 15 people in the house .
i keep closing my eyes every time i go to the fridge as im sure they are winking at me .
On the plus side the pooor dog has had the legs walked off him this week and i am even thinking about dusting down my bike (one thing at a time though) !!
must work extra hard this week as dh has big birthday and we are away for the next two weekends.0 -
Hello all my MFWSkinnies2B!
Sorry I didn't check in yesterday, I actually went away for the night (Saturday night) and was a bit frantic in the morning and didn't get to post to say. Anyway I weighed myself this morning and I've LOST 2lbs!!!!!:eek::D:D:j:j Whoop whoop!! Considering I have been 'forgetting' that I'm on a diet and eating like normal it's amazing!!
Hoping to carry on like that, little and consistent will do me fine! New job starts tomorrow and puppy can now be walked like normal so hoping that will melt the fat away!!
(Everyone is doing brilliant btw!)

Woop woo, we are sooooooo good:j
Ahem when I say that, yesterday was a complete disaster for me. We had a BBQ, I drank a bottle of Cava and a few Pims (made with diet lemonade though:p) Ate lots of meat and also had some coleslaw:eek:, however I did avoid the bread and puddings:o Then asked hubby to go to the shop as I fancied a packet of crisps and a starbar:o. Good job I have been good the rest of the week:o
The weight losses are adding up, we are doing so well:jLets hope those that are missing are not being as naughty as I was yesterday:p
Taka you are only 1 lb off a full stone, you must be so proud of yourself:j
caz do you know this from your own weight? Or did you read it somewhere? As its only water it will come out again i'm sure:D
brodie when you started off by saying your batteries had run out my mind was wondering:o I'm so naughty
kimmy 4lb omg and profitteroles in the house - you are saintly:A
raini wow you went away and you still managed 2 lb, as for 'forgetting you are on a diet' i'm sure subconsciously you are remembering!

Afternoon all, sounds like everyone is making progress but that booze is a major temptation and I totally agree. I had been good all week then my friend came around Saturday and I had 1 beer and 3/4 of a bottle of wine. Stupid as I felt rough the next day. Sunday only had 1 beer and I am determined not to have anything tonight. Have played golf Sun and Mon but no gym all week. Weight the same so put be down for 13.11 will try and do better next week promise.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Well it's Monday that means my weigh in day.
Lost 1lb last week, must try harder as thats not a good start.
Well done to all the people who lost weight, and keep on trying everyone.0 -
newgran a lb loss is fantastic, don't be so hard on yourself, just think if you hadn't been on board you might have been plus a pound or too. Think positively xxxx I am either losing weight or putting it on, I don't seem to have a full stop stage!
tallgirl the booze is a terrible temptation, especially in the hot weather:mad:
BBQ is lit again, can I resist the budweiser in the fridge---someone give me back my will power:o

Morning all - weigh in a day early for me as we're off to Bath for a few days. Only a 2lb loss for me this week, which I'm fairly happy with as it's * week. Still, a loss is a loss eh?!? I'm off to finish my breakfast of strawberries, grapes and cranberry muller light. Yum yum!Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0

Morning everyone,
Can I please make my weigh in day a Monday. That will give me the encouragement to not binge at the weekend - two buffet dinners and a birthday party in the last three days spoiled what had been an excellent week - three lbs lost then all put back on - however, efforts redoubled and off we go again. On the plus side, the EA Active has never been worked so hard in it's existence - logged 3 hours and almost 1,200 calories which, when I think about it, makes today's 12"4 all the more dispiriting!
On the even more plus side, the mortgage is going better than to plan at the moment. There's a bit of temptation to knock one more month off which means we potentially only have until the first of November but that's getting a wee bit ahead of myself.
Well done everyone - excellent progress already.
Cheers so,
