  • My new start weight tonight was 13st 2. Thought it would be higher to be honest after all the over indulgence last week, so i need to get cracking on lowering that.

One of my hotels has a dessert only restaurant, the other is AI with branded cocktails, ice-cream and a new dessert station which everyone on trip advisor raves about. Congratulations. When you get rid of those 2 lbs let me know, we will be the same weight and it might spur me on to actually lose weight rather than maintain it.

One of the girls asked me this morning if I had lost weight and I laughed. Maybe the running I was doing had been helping but I can't get motivated to do any exercise at the mo.

Started 5 day trial at Fitness First today. Did a body sculpture class and then spent about an hour on the cardio equipment.
Embarrassing moment though- I walked into the mens changing room by mistake.:o:o:o:o:o:o
They had this "Body Composition Analyser" in the changing room that says 33.5% of my body or 3st 4.2lb is fat- yuk! That's after losing 9lb :(:(:(.
Saleswoman says there's an offer at the moment: 12 months for £120 which is excellent value but its quite a distance from home. Local leisure centure is within walking distance and the gym is just as good- and they have a pool. But a free trial is a free trial :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.
2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.

Here is the wikipedia link if you want the actual equations for calculating BMI. :)

I use the NHS one... I figure if the NHS can't get it right there is no hope! :p I think it must convert into kilos or round up/down or something though as you can be a lb or 2 different with the same bmi using it! :rotfl:

That has freaked me as my body fat was about 41%. I'm going to work it out in stones too, and some has to go. How much are we supposed to be? I have no idea. Thought it was maybe 20%?

ETA - so scared i researched it - 22-25% is normal. Above 32 is obese. And i am 5st5Ib of lard. So gross.
