I know, but in case of non response as I read somewhere above it'll cost me to try again. Just got to home they will turn it around in 72 hours - there shouldn't be any reason for a rejection so fingers crossed!

Jut tried to do daughters - input all the info - clicked on and then it said `site is undergoing routine maintenance - check back later`!!

Does that mean I`ll have to do it again? as didn`t get any numbers or anything to confirm they had accepted it? grrrrrrrrr!!

I've just tried as well. It may be that the site is suffering under the strain of people trying to beat the deadline OR has it been closed down a little early maybe????? The US could certainly do with the extra money!!!!

Is there anyone who has seen the message currently displayed on the ESTA application site...

..who has subsequently been able to successfully make an application or at least see the application page??

I suppose that person would have also had come back to read this thread once successfully applying.. Like me! I've made two applications and on returning to make a third, I've been faced with the above message.

Any replies from user and/or mods would be gratefully appreciated.

I suspect the site has crashed due to large numbers trying to beat the deadline

I struggled and made 3 attempts each for me and my daughter before getting confirmation that my application is being looked at and to check back in 72 hours.

Just managed to get 3 applications done, but it took an age. Keep trying and it should work!

AAAARRRGH After seeing Martin on Daybreak this morning I am just trying to register 6 of us. TWO hours I have been at it now and only done half, site keeps crashing :mad:

Posted on another thread that I found Firefox easier to use.

just did it in 20 mins - keep hitting refresh when you get the connection problem message until the page displays. wasn't too painful. Good luck!
