Good morning everyone, and what a beautiful day :j We had a lovely day at the Lincolnshire Show yesterday (VickyA, I looked for your parents, but didn't spot them ;) ). I didn't manage to smuggle out any piglets but we did get some Gloucester Old Spot sausages (we had them for lunch and they were    ) Lincoln Red beefburgers and some prize-winning bacon.

Busy day today, I've already made bread and yougurt, washing's on the line, Tesco have delivered late last night and that's to put away. After I've been running, I'm going to bake bread for HM HG herb burgers tonight, chocolate cake, fruit cake and fork biscuits. I have lemon curd to make, chickpeas soaking to cook and make some into hummous and freeze the rest. When the Young Penguins are home, we're going to go and pick strawberries - some for tea and some for jam. I suppose that there'll be ironing to do  and a hoover and duster to run around  Afternoon in the garden is planned, too :j :T

    Morning everyone

Not been around for afew days so I suppose I've missed loads again. (((Hugs))) to all that need them.

Its looking rather dull here but thank god its stopped raining I thought we were going to get washed away at one point yesterday. Plans for today are get as much done as possible this morning while dd is at nursery then we can play this afternoon. DH is out tonight so were going to have some left overs for tea.

Later on when dd is in bed I'm going to do some paperwork and next months budget to see if we can afford the spends for a holiday as we have the money to pay for the actual trip. Half of me thinks sod it lets go the other half thinks we should keep the savings for winter.

    Have a good day everyone

    good morning

kyle maybe you should take it easy today. Hope the palpitations go soon.
Smokybabe Am I right in thinking you are back to work today? If so, good luck and (((hugs)))
    Happy Birthday to melvis
Pen-Pin hope you are feeling better today.
(((hugs))) to those who need one including poppyoscar, candygirl, jayward, betheebee, jannyannie and anyone who I have missed.

W**k today. At job no 1 today (no, N9eav, not that kind! ;) ) as boss has someone coming in to audit the practice and he would be happier if I was there. So, had to swap days and will be at job No 2 tomorrow. Also found out yesterday that boss No 1 has told another adviser that I can train his staff on Monday on how to use the new database! Can't say I'm at all happy about that as it will take up at least half my day, which means the work will be piling up and they will still need to go on the official training course anyway!

Cooked and stripped a chicken last night. Had some of it for dinner and will use some tonight for stuffed pitta bread for me and DS. DD doesn't eat pitta so wil do something similar for her without them.

DSis let me know last night that DNephew's baby's gravestone is in place now so I can visit it the next time I'm up in Scotland. Still get upset when I think about it.

Hope Thursday is a thrilling one for you. xx

    Morning all :)
Not so sunny here today but dry.
Avon lady came last night - alot of people say i wont make much money from it but i have my sisters and mum to help out, so we are a little team and hope to make the most of it!
I think im more excited about meeting new people in my area than making the money.

    Not so money saving today,
    drove to work
    didnt make lunch

so i will try and find the cheapest lunch i can!

I started work an hour early so yay over time for me! (not much - but better than nothing!)

Hope you all have a great day :D

Morning Chums ,hope everyone is bright-eyed and bushy-tailed this morning. Its almost mid-summers day and no sign of a proper summer as yet. The weather is looking decidely dodgy, and I have a bit of washing to shove on the line for a quick blow before it rains again.
Had a good day yesterday I went to Maidstone with youngest DD and small grandson and did some retail therapy for my holiday at the end of next week.
Spent far too much really, but then I haven't bought any clothes for nearly a year, so I guess it evens itself up.We had a nice lunch out that was vey reasonable, under a tenner for the three of us .Late radio/therapy last night, and didn't get home till 7.00.p.m. only 7 more days to go until it finishes. Went to the garden centre on the way home and managed to get some bargains in plants that were 75% off.makes up for the dosh I spent on my clobber
Have an afternoon r/t today so hopefully will miss all the traffic on the way home .I have my sis-in-law coming for the weekend so will have to do a shop on Friday.
First time in Mr T's for a fortnight, I am really doing my best to shop from my freezer and it's slowly going down .My eldest DD is off to the US at the end of July for 3 weeks so I am hoping to work my freezer down enough to put the remaining in her freezer so I can give it a good defrost.
Well overdue, my freezer looks like an igloo :)
Gentle <<hugs to those in need>> and a big :) to the rest of you .Hope you all have a good day take care

    Morning all!

Penny Penguin, will you please slow down or you'll meet yourself coming back:rotfl: (alternatively, get yourself down to me, where you can bake and cook your heart out;) I'll even throw in some dusting and hoovering, you lucky girl!!)

Smokybabe, good luck with the return to work. Hope you found your fob watch and badge:D I was so sorry to read of all your distress on Sunday. It was bound to be hard, the first Father's Day and only three months on (((hugs)))

Well I'm afraid there won't be much in the way of OS for me today, unless babysitting counts! I have hung out the towel wash, because it's lovely and blowy so they should dry soft. In a little while I'm heading over to babysit DGS2. DDIL and DGS1 are out on a school visit to a petting farm. DGS1 hopes they've got spiders:confused: :rotfl: He won't mind sheep and pigs etc, but it would be REALLY good if they've got lots of spiders:rolleyes: DDIL does not agree.

Jackie, you deserve a treat or three after the year you've had:D We should have a Daily countdown clock for your treatments, we could top it with a picture of a very large G&T:T

Well the mushy brain has got me. Thoughts and hugs for those that need them.

    CM x
