    Happy Birthday Melvis:beer:

    Happy Anniversary Jayward

Hugs PoppyOscar and welcome to our new people.

Am so chuffed, I've just got a freezer for free:D . It was sitting in the porch of a house near where my DF lives with a sign saying working please take, so OH and I did :D . Have cleaned it up and it's happily running in the utility room. Intend to use it for stuff from the allotment and reduced food.

    Catch you later.

    hello everyone

Apologies for my rant in advance.....

Woke up at 1am this morning with the overwhelming urge to be sick. This continuted for most of the night and poor DH gave up about 3am and went off to the spare room :D I thought perhaps this meant I would ahve a good daytime, but no - I haven't manged to keep anything other than water down all day :(

I'm feeling veyr sorry for myself, especially as we are off for the weekend to look after my parents house (or rather just give us an excuse to get out of the city). I'm not sure that I'll make the 3 hour car journey at this point

I wouldn't have been so keen to have babies if I knew that I would feel like this - I can honestly say that it's the worst I've ever felt. It's like having glandular fever with vomiting :(

    rant over now. :D

Hope that everyone is having a good time with this nice weather - it's a bit blowy here today, but the sun is shining and it's not a cold wind.

COuld do with getting some washing done and so will go do that now....

    Hello all !
Legs still recovering from walking all round Liverpool but what the heck........the sun is shining and I've had a good nights sleep in my own bed........oh what a difference it makes.
Problem now is to solve getting onto freecycle site...........for some reason it would not accept my password so I asked for new one.........that came through so I tried again............several times in fact ...............but still a big 'No' !! Wouldn't be so bad but someones offering some floor tiles I really need.............................oh well, suppose what you don;t have you don't miss but at the moment no way can we afford to pay out for floor covering.............
(Must stop thinking about it.........keep making myself even madder!)
    and apologies for rant !

Hope you're having a good day and hugs (((((((((((:o ))))))))to those who need them

I've already made 3 strawberry tarts last week!! now I've got another bucket load!! ha ha maybe I should go sell them at Wimbledon next week??

Aghhhhh I could scream:mad::mad::mad: flipping recruitment agencies do my head in, they really do! I had sent my cv to an agency in response to a job they had advertised - so I phoned up to ensure they had got it. "oh yeah, it's here" he said, "why not come on in and we'll have a chat about it". So off I went the 40 miles to Belfast, the git kept me waiting 20 minutes after my appointment time (and stank of cigarette smoke!) then asked me if I had my cv with me. Eh what??? He hadn't bothered to look at it, and if that wasn't irritating enough the job I'd applied for was a pretend job to generate applicants for their database. So an 80 mile round trip for nothing!! Like I can afford to waste that much petrol!!!!!! It's like banging your head off a brick wall sometimes...

I agree re the agencies, a lot of the jobs advertised in our local paper and on the jobcentre website are from agencies and when you ring the jobs 'have just been filled, but would you like to come in and register with us' The one and only one I did register with sent me for a job I couldn't do

Today is my daughters due date but not heard anything, so guess I'm not a granny yet :D

Have done the usual tidying up today. Not sure what to cook for tea yet, OH is coming home tonight but says he will eat before he gets back.

Got a fasting blood test tomorrow morning so better make my tea a filling one seeing as I won't be able to eat anything later
whoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine

    Afternoon all,

    Happy Birthday Melvis:beer:

    Happy Anniversary the Jaywards

Just got in from work, tea is in the oven, going to eat then have a quick bath, then off to sainsbugs to get the shopping, we usually get it delivered but as their website is down, it deleted our order  , so we now have to go and get it ourselves, I did try MR T but could not get on with it at all, I loathe shopping of any kind, so its a real chore for me. I need to get back for 7.30 for Easties, then come dine with me, which is my one of my favorites :D

Hope you all have good evenings xx

Sorry meant to say hugs to R mac, I know exactly what you are going through, I had horrible horrible sickness with my dd, but she is so worth it, would go through it 1000 times for her xx
